Jaxon's Pov

Clover Prep 2:30 pm Midwestern Time

I can't even feel the blows that keep coming back for me. I can't move and I can already tell my nose is bleeding, hell it might as well be broken. I don't care. He comes back for another hit and I feel this one. Damn that hurts, I grin anyway which pisses him off even more good. I am glad he is pissed off. How dare he look at Imani, ask her for things. She is perfect. She is beautiful and is perfect I can not fathom enough how we are lucky she graced us with her presence. 

I feel her looking at me I turn my head avoiding another punch. Her bright onyx eyes stare at me like a deer. She stands watches and listens. Silent always there but never alone she tends to go with the crowd only talking we need be. I will protect her, especially from Alexander. We all know what kind of psycho he is...

Flash Black~

It's springtime almost a year ago from the present... Alexander and Jaxon are seen running through a field laughing and giggling. Alexander pulls out his dad's pocket knife and begins to run in circles with it still laughing. A group of older boys approaches them, Jaxon stops running upon seeing them fear comes across his face and it's obvious he knows these older boys. Without saying anything Jaxon points to the older boys. Fright is obvious and Alexander doesn't let it go unnoticed he stops running in circles and stares at the older boys. They start to call Jaxon names and threaten him and that's when Alexander steps forward the knife obvious at his side.

The older boys don't stop. Alexander runs forward and slices one of the boys. The boy drops screaming in agony holding a hand to his open wound. Alexander doesn't stop instead he smiles. He moves quickly and agile blood sprays all over his face he only keeps smiling before taking on the third and final boy. He runs and slits his neck quickly and easily. After he is done he turns back to Jaxon. "Don't worry... no one will ever hurt you on my watch."

Who knows when he will crack again. We vowed to never speak of what happened no case was made they just said it was gang-related and moved on. No one knows about the secrets we keep. Maybe it's just best that way. I mean everyone has secrets... Even Imani does...
