Chapter 13

Jay's pov :

It was lunch time I was in the school garden alone looking at my phone, it was silence before someone came shouting at me  "Hyung~" someone shouted, I looked up to see sunghoon running to me "What?" I asked confused "I have a surprise for you" sunghoon said with the biggest smile that i personally have seen "Show me then" I said, he grabbed my hand and pulled me some where, after a little bit he stopped dragging me "We here?" I asked, he nodded I looked around "Wait....Why are we infront of the house?" I asked, it was lunch time, why are we home?, sunghoon just smiled at me then gestured me to go inside, I walked inside it was quite and dark "Uhm....Hello, eomma appa?" I spoke out wondering in the dark, then the door behind me shut and I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit scared, suddenly the light turned on "Surprise, happy birthday" Everyone shouted, I stood there shock "W-wait Beomgyu hyung, taehyun hyung, yeonjun hyung, soobin hyung, Hyuka hyung?, aren't you supposed to be at school rn?" I looked confused, they all laugh I just stood there confused "What's so funny?" I awkwardly asked "Today there were supposed to be no school for us since we told our parents to say that we couldn't go to school because it was your birthday, and so did your parents" they explained, "W-wait, so the maknes also didn't have school today?" I asked Niki nodded at my question, "Thanks guys" I hugged everyone "Thank you eomma and appa" I said hugging eomma and appa "Your welcome jay, now go celebrate" eomma said, I smiled at them then running off to my friends.

Heeseung's pov :

Me and jake stood there watching jay and the rest celebrated his birthday, we went upstairs so they wouldn't be disturbed by us "Jay is growing so fast, I can't belive he's almost 18 now" I said wiping happy tears, it was fun seeing him grow so fast like he use to be so tiny and now he's as tall as me like time goes by so fast, that it also kinda hurts me because the day that he'd be moving out is soon, I just feel so proud having a son like him "Look at our boy, from asking us if he could get some allowance for snacks, to giving us half of his money to pay us everything" jake said grabbing my waist and pulling me closer "He's growing so fast" I said with a smile, I looked at jake and smiled "I'm happy that I could have a son like jay, with someone that I'd treasure until the last breath" I said resting my head on Jake's shoulder "So do i" he said and we kissed for a long time.

Time skip

It was 3 PM me and jake decided that we're going to give jay his gift now, everyone has given him his gifts and now it's our turn, I knocked on his door "Come in" he shouted from inside, I gently opend the door "Eomma, do you need anything" jay asked sitting on the bed "No, I just wanted to give you this" I handed him a box, he gladly took the box and opend it, inside was a bracelet that he'd wanted for a long time now "No way, you boughtme these Gucci bracelet" he said in disbelief, I smiled then nodded "But, this is 3 thousand dollars tho" he said looking at me "Yeah, so?" I asked not hoping for a response "It's so expensive, you shouldn't spend that much on me" he said, I hugged him "You deserve that" I broke teh hug then left his room, I was touched on how he thought we shouldn't have spent 3 thousand dollars for him I wanted to say to him that 3 thousand dollars is only a little bit of what you actually worth, I went downstairs to get a snack with jake, suddenly jay came downstairs and sat with us in teh kitchen "Thank you for the bracelet, you really shouldn't spent that much on me" he said, jake looked at him than smiled "You know, that was the same reaction that I gave to your eomma when he gave me a backpack worth almost a thousand dollars, but he reassured me that a bag worth 3 thousand dollars is just a tiny price of what I'm worth for and that goes the same to you and everyone else" Jake said with a reassuring smile "Am I really worth getting a 3 thousand dollar bracelet?" Jay looked at me "You deserve more than that" I said then smiled at him "I love you eomma" jay  said hugging me "I love you too jay".
