Kaeya x Albedo -"Where You Lonely?"-

Albedo sat on a rock in Dragonspine. He was sketching the scenery something he did often but today he just wanted to draw something that reminded him of his lover or at least he was hopeful that would be their title. And the cold chill of Dragonspine, while drawing the snowy landscape did just that. All of it reminding Albedo of Kaeya. Now they weren't officially dating but the two of them had confessed their feelings but dating wasn't a thing Albedo understood and so he was worried that it would get in the way. Looking back on it Albedo was embarrassed at how he had just run away from Kaeya.

"'Bedo~" Kaeya said as he scooted closer to the alchemist.

Albedo look up from his work and over at Kaeya. "Yes?"

Kaeya smiled "When you're done want to join me for dinner at my place?"

Albedo thought for a second, he hadn't gone out with Kaeya for dinner in a long while, nor had he left his lab in a few days. "Sure, getting out would be quit the benefit." He completely disregarded the fact it was AT Kaeya's house though.

When Albedo had finished Kaeya dragged him to his house where Albedo sat on the couch Kaeya walked out of the kitchen with two glasses of wine in hand. "I have something important I would like to discuss with you if that's alright."

Albedo took a glass as Kaeya sat down. "That is fine." He took a small sip.

Kaeya smiled and scooted closer to the blond, Albedo being unfazed by the closeness as they had sat close to each other many times before. "Albedo, do you know about the concept of love? Or more specifically have you even been in love?" Kaeya's question was out of the blue and was not expected. 

"I would say I do not and have not." Albedo spoke now staring at Kaeya.

Kaeya nodded he expected that. "Well I think I am in love with you, 'Bedo. And I don't mean it like you just make me nervous, I mean it as in I love you, everything about you I would say." He didn't seem fazed by his confession. "Your eyes, your pail skin, your smile, the way you hold your pencil. I have found myself admiring all of you, everything you do from the way you walk to the way you do your hair." Kaeya stopped a smile on his face as he gazed at the alchemist right next to him. 

Albedo's face had grown a deep red his eyes wide. "Kaeya...I-errr I don't know what to say.." He looked at his lap and the wine in his hand.

"I figured you felt the same seeing as how you draw me a lot alth-" He was cut off by Albedo standing up.

"Y-YOU SAW MY ROOM!?" He yelled.

Kaeya was taken aback by the sudden outburst. "Well I happened to yes...Drawings of me where all over the ground none had been finished though... why is that?" He was careful as to how he worded his sentence.

Albedo set his cup on the coffee table, before speaking again. "I have been unable to capture your beauty! None of my drawing or paintings can grasp your charm!" His face grew a deeper red. "I-I prefer to gaze at the real you. For you are much more charming and attractive than a few lines."

Kaeya laughed a little making Albedo's heart sink. "So I was right."

Albedo sat down thinking, he had basically just said what Kaeya did but in a more artsy manner. "Perhaps I do love you?"

"Is the smart Chief Alchemist of The Knights of Favonius, Albedo confused?~" Kaeya smirked. "If you're confused I won't ask you to date me."

Albedo stood up again. The thought of being confused made him angry he hated not understanding something, but to not understand himself. That, that was worse. "I-I...." He was silent before grabbing the cup he put on the table downing the hole thing in one go. He slammed it on the table and looked at Kaeya who looked beyond surprised. "SO MAYBE I DO LOVE YOU! BUT WHAT OF IT?" Before Kaeya could respond or stop him Albedo had ran out of the house. He wasn't sure why he reacted like that. It made him more confused and he hated it.

So here Albedo sat avoiding the Calvary Captain in fear of disappointing him. He was far to embarrassed right now to face Kaeya although he knew Kaeya was looking for him. He just wanted to sit and draw right now though

That was till he heard his name. "Albedo!" The alchemist froze up that was Kaeya. He packed his things and quickly made his way further up the mountain. Despite having gone further he heard his name again but it was a lot closer. "Albedo! I see you trying to run off get back here!"

Albedo turned around and gasped as Kaeya began to run after him Albedo tried to outrun him but with all his art supplies it was useless and he ended up tripping, dropping his art supplies everywhere much to his dismay. "AH- No!" He tried to pick it all up praying the paper wouldn't get damaged by the snow.

Kaeya pulled the alchemist up to his feet by his hoodie, causing the alchemist to yet again drop his art supplies. "Oh- Shit, sorry 'Bedo-" Kaeya picked it all up this time. "I didn't mean to- are you ok?"

Albedo was standing as still as a statue his face red and eyes swelling with tears that refused to fall. He didn't want to run into Kaeya right now, he didn't want the knight to look for him and worst of all he had dropped the artwork that reminded him of Kaeya into the snow and it was all wet now. "UGH! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" He tried to run off again but Kaeya pulled him into a hug.

"Albedo...come on. I'm sorry about your art." Kaeya held the blond tight to prevent him from running off again.

Albedo gave up in trying to escape and melted into the hug. "I...I wasn't ready to face you..."

Kaeya sighed "Is that why you ran?" the smaller nodded, "Running wouldn't have gotten you anywhere, love. Better to face me sooner rather then later."

Albedo sighed and looked up at Kaeya. "W-what do you want."

Kaeya smiled sadly. "To apologize. I was rude last night and I understand if you don't want to date me right now or not at all." 

Albedo groaned and pushed him away escaping the warm embrace of the knight he loved so much. "I just wasn't expecting it. Your charm caught me off guard." He then opened the sketch book he had spent most the day filling with art that reminded him of Kaeya. "But I couldn't get you outta my head. So I drew things that reminded me of you... seeing as I can't draw you and it be correct.."

Kaeya took the sketch book ignoring the water damage. "Where you lonely?" He looked up at Albedo, "If you had to draw things that made you think of me, you must have missed me."

Albedo simply nodded. "I find myself always feeling alone when you are not around..." 

Kaeya smiled. "I am glad I'm important to you, 'Bedo.~"

Albedo looked Kaeya in the eyes. "I am in love with you too!" Kaeya's face softened but Albedo didn't stop talking, he had more to say. "And I would like it if you would be my partner...if...if that's ok."

Kaeya pretended to to be dumbfounded. "Hmm well I don't know... not the most convincing confession.~"  

Albedo frowned before grabbing Kaeya by the collar of his shirt and pulling him down for a kiss. It was a fast kiss but it was what Kaeya wanted. "Date me you shit head." Albedo said his brow frowned and his eyes filled with anger, yet it was a playful anger. 

"Anything you wish my lovely rose.~"
