Tears were running down my face, the tears staining my cheeks. I looked in my rearview mirror when the light was red. I looked a mess. My thoughts began to take over, I wasn't thinking. I paid no attention to the light as it turned green. The car behind me hit the horn causing me to jump and come back to the real world. I started to drive again. As soon as I pulled up I got out if the car and slammed the door. I stormed up the stairs to my flat, fiddling with my keys. My, spare key. I had left it with Dan, great. I wasn't going to be surprised if he showed up. After thinking about that, I grabbed my main key and unlocked the door. This time, I closed it slowly and quietly. The sun was too bright so I closed all my curtains and blinds. I took my stuff out of my bag and out it back in their usual places. I found Dan's jumper at the bottom if my bag, this only made me cry more. I sat down on my bed heavily, holding the jumper close to me. I through it across the room, crying heavily. I changed into my joggers and a baggy T-shirt. I snuggled up in bed and turned on my TV. I decided after ten minutes I didn't want to watch anything, so I turned it off and grabbed my laptop. I was scrolling through Facebook, then tumblr, then twitter. I had checked everything. I was lonely and needed someone to talk to. At that very moment, the door began to unlock. I knew it was going to be Dan, it was definitely Dan. But it wasn't, it was Phil.

"Hey Emily, you left you're so are key at our place so I decided to bring it too you, Dan suggested to but I thought it would be best if he didn't," he smiled.

"Well, I guess I'll go, I'm sure you want to be alone for a bit."

"No! Please don't go! Stay for a bit, I'm lonely and need someone to talk to," he stopped in his tracks and turned on his heels.

"You want me to stay?"

"If you could," he smiled and slipped his shoes off. He sat down next to me.

"Why don't we play on the Xbox? What do you want to play?" I thought carefully.

"Halo 3?" Phil sighed, he wasn't the greatest at halo, but we both found it fun. I jumped up and ran into the living room. Phil followed and grabbed the Xbox controllers as I turned it on.

"OK, let me connect," Phil finally connected to his account and got his character.

"Right, let's have a battle."

"What do you want our main weapon to be?" Phil flipped through the weapons and chose the gravity hammer.

"Really, the gravity hammer? You can't attack unless you're right close to each other!"

"So? It makes it more interesting. Anyway, that's not our only weapon."

We played for over three hours and of course, Phil lost. He didn't mind though, we were just playing for fun. It was 2:30pm and all we had done was play on halo.

"I think I better go, Dan might start to get the wrong idea," Phil sighed.

"Yeah, he probably will. I said I was still with him and I don't want him to think I was lying," I hugged him and pecked him in the cheeks
