We're hashiras not babysitters

"W-Witches.. EXIST?!" Zenitsu screamed, Tanjiro closed his ears and nodded. "Apparently, they gave me this weird drink. But I have no idea what to do with it." He said, Zenitsu was thinking. While Inosuke attacks the Tree with his head. "Maybe we can ask the hashiras?" He said, Tanjiro nodded. "But maybe they're busy." Said Tanjiro, Zenitsu frowned. Inosuke came running and attacked Zenitsu who was already screaming. "Y/n is never busy!!" Said Inosuke, everyone looked at him. "And should you know that?" Zenitsu asked with a black eye. "I've got my manners idiot, now get up and stop whining." Inosuke ran through the woods with Tanjiro and Zenitsu chasing him.

When they arrived, they saw the hashira sitting on the ground. She was thinking and looking at the sky. "Hello, Y/n!" Tanjiro smiled. You looked back and gave them a smile. "What brings you here?" asked them. "A witch gave me a strange potion, but I don't know what to do with it." Y/n's eyes widened as she tried to hold back her laugh. "Witches? Not only Witches have to make separate potions, everyone can do that, right?" She laughed, Inosuke's eyes went on the drink. "It's from a Witch! if you don't believe us take a sip!!" he shouted. "So you think I'm just going to take a sip of that weird drink when I don't know what's in it?" You asked him as he quickly shook his head. "Yes! Yes!! You don't have to do it either, I already knew you were a wimp." he said defiantly.

"Okay, Deal. I'll do it I'm not a wimp." You said well, Tanjiro gave you the bottle with that drink. "You know- Y/n you don't have to if you don't want to." Tanjiro said concerned, You nodded and took a sip. "And are you feeling weird already? WHAT IF THE DRINK MAKES Y/N INTO A DEMON!!" Said zenitsu but was immediately hit on the back of the head by Inosuke. "I don't feel anything." You said, but that was before you feel something weird in your stomach. "I think I'm going to throw up, this drink was undrinkable gross. I'll see you later." You said, they nodded and walked away again.

Muichiro's pov:

Coming back from a mission and on my way back to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, I opened the door and walked in. I saw Mitsuri jump up and down, I saw the rest standing with her. Is there something going on? when I walk towards them the eyes went on me. "Oi! Tokito, your friend has turned into a baby. Make her turn back or she won't be able to go on her missions!" Sanemi yelled, I said nothing and gently pushed the people aside for me to see, and he was right. Well except for one thing, Y/n is not a baby. But a toddler. "Mmm, how did this happen?" I asked, Mitsuri held up her shoulder and continued to hug Y/n. "I just saw Tanjiro, Zenitsu and that boar boy here. They gave Y/n a strange potion, she drank it. And then she turned into a ... toddler." said Tomioka. "Why didn't you stop her?" Obanai asked him. "Because it was fun to watch." Tomioka said, Shinobu hit him on the back of the head and smiled, she walked over to Y/n and took over from Mitsuri. "And this is why you have no friends Tomioka." She said.

"I'll see if there's anything to change her back, I want you to look after her." Shinobu said as she walks away, the rest look at her. And I looked at Y/n tugging at my pants. I picked her up and held her in my arms. "WHAT?! we're Hashiras! not babysitters!!" Sanemi yelled, the pillars looking at each other and then at the toddler in Muichiro's arms. "Poor soul, what if it was a poison potion Tomioka? Then she was dead, and you kept watching." Said the Rock pillar, you heard him sigh. "I'm not going to babysit a Toddler! I'm out of here!" And with that, Sanemi ran away, and started training with himself. "I want to babysit her! she's so cute!" Mitsuri said, Obanai tried to keep her calm. But Mitsuri already grabbed Y/n from my arms and ran inside with her. "I'm going with her, are you coming?" Obanai asked me and I nodded. We walked in and saw Y/n playing with Mitsuri's hair. I'm surprised Y/n hasn't said anything yet, she's pretty quiet.

"Y/n, can you talk?" I asked her, she looked at me and smiled. "Yeah." She whispered, speaking softly. "Her voice is so calm and cute." said Mitsuri. She seems shy to me, when she was older she was much more daring. "When she drank that potion, would her old memories come with her? So she now feels herself the way she used to feel when she was little." I asked them, Obanai looked at me and then at Y/n who was combing Mitsuri's hair shyly. "That could very well be, are you worried?" Asked Obanai, I can't deny imagine that something stupid happened in her earlier days. "Y/n, how are you feeling?" I was on my knees, Y/n came behind Mitsuri today and slowly walked towards me. I held out my hand and she took my hand. "M..Mui" She smiled softly as I did.

Mitsuri's pov:

I watch Y/n and Muichiro hold hands, it was so cute. Wow I could just take a picture, luckily Obanai did! I want to show that photo to Y/n later when she's back to normal. Only this moment looks like Muichiro acting like a big brother! So cute, I look at the clock and see it's dinner time. "Let's go eat!" I said, Obanai stood up and held out his hand to me. I blushed and took his hand, I looked at Muichiro who lifted Y/n and went with her to the kitchen. I smiled.

"Come on Y/n!" Obanai sighed, holding the fork of food in front of Y/n's face. "..No" she said softly, Sanemi walked in. "Give it here! I can't stand this any longer." Sanemi held the fork in front of her face and stuffed it into her mouth. "And that's how you do it." Muichiro looked angrily at him. "Huh?" Sanemi looked at Y/n who made a weird face, at once she spat everything out in his face. "YOU LITTLE-" Tomioka pushed him out of the room, took the fork and held it in front of her face. "Eat." Y/n shook her head no. "If you don't eat you will remain weak and small forever and you will eventually die on your own just like me." He said coldly, Y/n went pale. "Well don't do that..!" I said, Muichiro took over the fork now. "Would you please eat, Y/n. For me?" He said. Y/n looked at him then at the fork and took a bite. She was eating!

When she finished eating, I grabbed a candy. "Here, take it, the desserts were gone. So have a sweet!" I said happily, she took it and ate it. If only I knew she couldn't stand sugar... She grabbed another candy and then another... and it just kept going. "Y/n! I think you should really stop now!" I said worried, she looked at me and smiled she ran out of the kitchen. I ran after her, and saw the rest sitting on the couch, exhausted. They were all the ones feeding Y/n, but it took quite a while. "Uh guys?" I came walking into the room, the eyes went on me. "I.. um.. Lost Y/n..!" I said, their eyes widened. Everyone jumped off the couch, everyone looked for Y/n. "There she is." Obanai pointed to the toddler who was playing with swords. "Y/n put those swords down!!" Sanemi screamed, everyone ran to her. But Y/n... she
ran away.

After an hour of searching, we really couldn't find her. Everyone was devastated, even Kyojuro and Uzui helped. Even Uzui'z wives! She was nowhere to be seen, I walked in and went to Muichiro's room to say we can't find her and we lost her. I knocked on the door but no answer, I opened the door slowly. "Hey.. Muichiro-" But I closed my mouth as quickly as I could when I saw that Y/n.. was sleeping in Muichiro's arms. This was so cute, I walked back and left the room.

Muichiro's pov:

"Y/n?" I looked and saw Y/n standing in front of my door, I let her in. And closed the door, she rubbed her eyes. And I knew immediately that she was tired, I picked her up and put her on my bed I took off her shoes. And walked to my closet, I grabbed a blue hoodie. "It may be too big for you, but it's comfortable." I threw it next to her, she grabbed the hoodie and put it on. She started to lie under my covers. And closed her eyes, I lay down next to her and played with her hair.
I finally fell asleep myself.

———next morning———

Reader's pov:

I woke up, and I had two strong arms around me. I looked around the room and saw that it was Muichiro's room, I saw that coming. I wanted to turn around so I could see Muichiro's face, but I also didn't want to turn around because I was so comfortable. "Are you awake?" I heard Muichiro behind me, I shook my head gently. "What happened?" I asked slowly, Muichiro kissed the back of my head. "You were a pretty quiet toddler until you took some.. A LOT of sugar, you were pretty annoying then. But in the middle of the night Shinobu came in after she knocked ten times, I asked what was wrong and she said she had the medicine. She gave you a little injection and she said you should be back to normal tomorrow." He said, I nodded. I turned and looked at him, kissing his chin and throwing my arms around him. "I'm going to get Inosuke back so hard." I said, Muichiro looked at me confused. "He said I was too scared to drink the 'strange' drink so I decided to prove him wrong. And... uh I drank it." I said, I felt his arms tighten around my waist. "I help you." He said, he kissed my forehead now. "Go back to sleep." He whispered, I closed my eyes but heard a lot of 'aww' outside..
