Omniscient

Harry wakes up, blinks twice before putting his glasses on. He looks around, he's in the bed at Gryffindor's common room. He pulls off the curtains and watches the room. Suddenly, the war, the fallen, Ginny under the tree, come to his mind. He is tired, he is tired of watching people suffer because of him, because they were near him. Without planning it, a tear rolls through his cheek, he feels miserable, he feels that every effort he did, all the people he saved, were just a reminder he couldn't help his friends, the people he loves. Harry, as always, is thinking too much, but he decides to go down to the Great Hall to eat something as he haven't eaten anything since Ron, Hermione and himself were searching for the horcruxes. While he is walking the corridors, good memories come to his mind, some are really good. He remembers the first time he walked through those corridors, when they defeated a troll in their first year or when he was with the map of the Marauders or just missing moments with Ginny. Then he feels like new and he experiences what love is, the feeling that someone could love him just how he really was, even if he was broken, and they will still love him. He is getting closer and closer to the Great Hall, suddenly two hands cover his eyes. He smiles, and a familiar and melodious voice says:

- "Who I am?" Harry laughs, it was a really obvious question.

- "Don't know, are you a Death Eater?" Immediately when he finishes that sentence Ginny hits his shoulder followed by a laugh and a kiss on his cheek.

- "You are a dimwit; did you know it?"

- "Well, you love this dimwit, don't you?"

- "Unfortunately, I do." And they kiss as if life depended on it, as if they have all the time and they have to worry about nothing but their love, their sincere love. Harry feels that when he's with Ginny everything seems to freeze and there is only both of them and their undeniable love.

Ginny takes him by the hand and guides him to the Great Hall. When they enter all looks go on the direction of their interlocked hands, but they don't mind, they are happy and no one will bother them.

They are near the table of Gryffindor, and they sit next to Hermione and Ron, who of course are fighting but it is normal and Harry likes it because it means nothing has changed, no one has died, a war hasn't just ended, it is just them, everything is okay. They stay like that for a while: laughing, commenting, talking, crying sometimes if the occasion was needed, but they are together in it, they do it together and they are sure that they are going to overcome the sad moments, that is now past, now there is a future, and they are going to take it and try to live it as happiest as they can, and they won't miss it.

When the topic gets too sad, Ginny presses Harry's hand like giving him support and cheer him up. That gesture makes Harry feel better. As the talk is going to drag on, Molly comes and tells them that they are heading to the Burrow. She told Harry that if he wants, he can go with the others and stay at their house as long as he wants. Harry is really grateful for that because he feels as if Fred's death was his fault. So, he hugs Molly and tells her that he is going to think about it. The friends stand up and go on the direction of the rooms so they will collect all the things and head to the Burrow. When they are in the common room, Harry and Ron go to the boy's room and Ginny and Hermione go to the girl's room. In the boy's room, Harry and Ron are talking about Quidditch as it is one of the themes they haven't talk about in a while. Ron, as always, is saying how good the Chudley Canons are. When they finish packaging everything, they go down to the common room where the girls are waiting for them. When they are near the girls, Harry takes Ginny's hands and drags her out of the common room. Harry starts to walk towards The Black Lake. Then Harry tells Ginny to sit under the tree. She does and he starts talking:

- "Ginny, I want to tell you something." Harry is really serious, so Ginny looks at him into the eyes.

- "Tell me, you know you can tell me everything." Harry takes a deep breath.

- "Ginny, I know we have just ended a war and that you've lost Fred and I don't know if I go too fast, but the only thing I want to ask you is: do you want to be my girlfriend again?" Now Ginny feels like she is the happiest girl in the world, now her true love, her only love, had ask her to be his love. She was so happy. With all the excitement that she can have she shouts:

- "Yes, is that even a question?" Harry smirks, and then they join in a tender and lovely kiss. It's true that everything has changed too fast, but they are the same, those fireworks they feel when they kiss, the feeling when they are with each other, they haven't changed. And that feeling was breathtaking.
