It was morning, everyone was awake and were eating breakfast. Meanwhile they were talking about their future, of Hogwarts..., as convenient as always, Errol made a masterful entrance, smashing himself with the opposite window of the one which was open, and smashing with the closed one, as he always did.

Ron snorted loudly, stands up and went to take the letters. Harry felt an ache as he remembered that he didn't have an owl. He misses Hedwig a lot, it was his only partner when he was with the Dursleys. Ginny noticed the hurt expression of her boyfriend, so she took his hand and squeezed it tightly. Harry looked up to her and smiled. He got closer and kissed her forehead, it wasn't that he didn't want to kiss her in the lips but Ron was in front and he knew how he would react. Harry looked at his best friend and saw him stunned. He stand up and went at his side.

- "What are the letters about?" Harry asked with the curiosity filling his words.

Ron didn't bother to respond, he just gave Harry the letter. Harry read it fast and then he ended with the same stunned face as his friend. The girls laughed a bit and then Ginny asked them what the letter was about.

- "Kingsley had offered us to join the Auror quarters." He said, he couldn't believe it.

- "I think I will accept, it's our dream since ever, and we finally have an opportunity." Ron finally said. Hermione disagreed and they started, as always, arguing. Harry just looked at Ginny, she looked at him and he sat next to her and hug her.

- "I won't accept if you want so." He said softly. Ginny smiled sadly.

- "I don't want you to lose your opportunity to do what you always wanted to do..." She said fast as if each of the words hurt.

- "But..." Harry said encouraging her to express her opinion.

- "I wanted to go to Hogwarts with you and have the year that we didn't have together because of Voldemort, I know it is selfish."

- "And..." Harry said raisin his brows. She sighed and continued.

- "And is a dangerous and I don't want to lose you again." She finally confessed. Harry took a second and then he talked.

- "First I told you I won't accept if it is not what you want. Second if I accept I promise that I won't be badly hurt, remember that I am "the great Harry Potter." He said emphasising, "the great Harry Potter", with an overconfident face and putting an overreacted expression of hero. Ginny laughed and hit his shoulder in not a very gently way.

- "Show off, you clown." She said without stop laughing. Harry smiled for himself for making her laugh. And his heart melted as he heard her marvellous laugh. He leaned closer and he kissed her, she him back. It wasn't just a kiss, he was trying to express, "I will always be there", in that kiss. When they break apart, he said:

- "I will tell Kingsley, that I will wait until I finish my last year in Hogwarts, so I can be with you and then when I finish it, I will accept the offer." She smiled widely and jumped on Harry, and filled his face with kisses. When Ginny finally get off Harry, they went to see if Ron was still alive.
