Riley's heart was pounding hard in her chest. She was almost out far away for her to relax. She couldn't let all of her, Oliver and organisation's go to waste! All those deaths, it couldn't all be in vain! She let out a relieved sigh as she drove out of the empty gas station, it felt so good to get out of that creepy station.
Riley concentrated on the road, she must be far enough away now-
She didn't see it coming at all.
One moment she was driving along the road, with hope for her future
The next?
She was almost slammed against the front windshield with her seat belt holding her back as her car was felt like it had crashed into a brick wall!
Riley swore out loud, she hadn't seen anything, what the hell happened?!
Riley gritted her teeth, thinking about her bad luck as she opened the door, her hand going to the whistle tucked away in her pocket just in case as well as her small gun that had wolves bane bullets.
Her eyes widened in shock as she took in the huge dent at the front of her car, it...almost looked like a shape of a hand?
But she had been speeding?!
Werewolves shouldn't be strong enough to stop her car like that?! It had felt like she'd run into a brick or metal wall! Yet she could see nothing around.
Riley turned around hurriedly, she shouldn't have left the car! She should have just locked herself in and continued!
But it was to late.
She froze as she saw someone leaning on her car door, blocking her entrance to the car.
He hadn't been there a second ago!
"Riley, feels like it's been a while, are you going somewhere?" The young man hummed.
She didn't know how he knew her name at first, not recognising him.
But then as she stared at him, terrified she resaliese why he looked so familiar.
But that couldn't be!
He didn't have the cure! How could he transform back?!
Despite the clear size difference and the mutated wolf feature gone, he still somehow looked very intimidating, he was tall and very athletic looking, the clothes he was wearing clearly too small for him.
It wasn't really that, she had faced more intimidating looking werewolves but it was the way his eyes tracked her movements, even though he had changed back, she still felt like she was being stared down by him, as a monstruos mutated werewolf.
"S-Stiles" She said shocked.
He stepped towards her menacingly as he said with a slow nasty amused smile "Did you think you could run while we were distracted by the full moon?"
Riley brought out her gun quickly that was filled with wolves bane bullets but she was no match for his speed and strength as he grabbed it from her hand then crushed down and the gun fell to pieces on the floor.
She tried to bring out the whistle but Stiles forcibly took that from her as well, she barely saw him move, one moment she had the whistle and the next moment Stiles was holding the whistle.
She held her breath as she saw that his expression was twisted with fury as he stared at the whistle and then back at her as he growled "Seriously?"
It seemed she had no choice but to bargain.
"W-what do you want f-from me!" If it's the cure it'll take more time to get the ingredients" She pleaded but Stiles said coldly "No it won't"
She watched in shock as Stilss crushed the whistle in between his hands and then dropped the dust he'd crushed it into on the floor.
No!
That couldn't be! How did he know!?
"There's your ingredients, get to work" Stiles sneered.
She didn't know what to say.
"You think I wasn't able to smell what you had in the small black bag you'd showed us?"
"I still need more-" She tried but Stiles shook his head and this time walking into her personal space as he growled sounding just like the mutated werewolf version of him she was terrified of "You only need the whistle and your own magic. Maybe I didn't make myself clear, if you don't do this, I will kill you and if I think your waisting my time I will also kill you"
The Druid swallowed nervously but she saw the only way that she could survive this. It seemed he had become softer with changing back, he'd let her go once she had completed this then she could secretly start up the organisation's again.
It didn't take that long, about half an hour for her to create a small fire and to start burning the dust of the whistle into ashes, then about fifteen minutes for the magical fire to burn out.
"There, each grain of the whistles ashes can turn a werewolf back" She said hurriedly, eager to escape, she stood up since she had been crouched over the ashes of the whistle, ready to get away from here as far as possible.
Six words stopped her from moving away any further and froze her heart in her chest and her breathing started to become heavy with fear.
"I didn't say you could go" Stiles said, his voice flat.
His eyes seemed to glow in the moon light and she swore for a split second she saw silver light flare up inside them.
Stiles smiled, showing teeth as he said "It hasn't been that long since I last eat but I'm still starving"
"What are you talking about!" Riley choked out. She couldn't run, she knew he would catch her easily.
"Oh, didn't I tell you?" He said mockingly "I never was a werewolf. I was a werefox and now I'm a Nogisune and I'm hungry"
There was no mistaking it, his eyes turned silver, glowing in the dark.
Stiles regarded her hungrily, he'd had a feeling Riley hadn't paid much attention to what had been going on, only how she could escape with the whistle so she would have missed or not understood any comments about Stiles fox side made in front of her.
She had thought he was a normal werewolf that had been turned, unlucky for her.
Anything about controlling himself had gone out of the window the more he was in her presence. The more he thought about how easy her bones would be to break and how delicious that pain would be.
It wasn't just that either.
He blamed her, blamed her for everything as well as himself. Oliver was already dead and the other organisations would be dead soon as well.
All that was left was her.
If he had still been a mutated werewolf he probably would have eaten her alive, painful but quick however that made him feel pretty ill thinking about it so he pushed that to the back of his mind.
No, he was after something else now.
"You're going to wish I was still a mutated werewolf" Stiles sneered.
He reached for her, eagerly.
"I remember hearing that there is 206 bones in the human body? Shall we find out?" Stiles said darkly and unable to help the way his voice twisted into something more animalistic, not able to hide how hungry he was.
It felt like any goodness or empathy had been ripped away just leaving hunger in its place. He didn't care about anything, only satisfying the deep craving that was rooted inside of him.
Everything else just seemed to vanish from his mind, pack, friendship, his past, only one thing mattered.
The hollow feeling was back in full force and every instinct was begging for substance.
They were in an long empty dark road, no one who would help her could hear her screams.
