Forest, the night security guard, was making his rounds when he heard screams coming from Sam's cell. Forest went over to Sam's cell and banged his fist against the cold, metal bars. The sound of his fist hitting the metal bars made Sam almost jump right out of his skin. He rushed over to the metal bars and threw his hands through the bars, yelling at the top of his lungs. "Be quiet." Forest snapped at Sam. But Sam won't stop screaming. He just kept screaming about how a creature with dark red eyes was telling him that it was going to kill him.
Muttering to himself, Forest got his keys out and tried to find the key for Sam's cell. He finally found the key for his cell and he inserted the key into the lock. He turned the key in the lock until he heard the clicking sound. As he opened the cell door, Sam backed up until his legs bumped against the end of his bed. Forest stood in the door-way, his arms crossed against his chest. He looked around the room until his eyes fell on Sam. "Ok, get out so I can check." Forest said as Sam rushed out of his cell and ran over to Jack's cell. Sam had his back pressed against the cell bars as he watched Forest walk through his cell.
All of a sudden, a hand came out from Jack's cell bars and grabbed Sam by the shoulder. He gasped as he spun around, facing Jack's cell. He heard laughing coming from within the cell. "Not funny!" Sam yelled. "Yes, it was." Jack said from inside his cell, laughing so hard that he couldn't stop. All of a sudden, they both heard a shriek coming from Sam's cell. Sam ran over to his cell and he screamed as soon as he did.
Forest's throat has been ripped out, blood gushing onto the ground. Sam looked away from Forest's dead body and he saw a dark figure standing in the far left corner of the room. The dark figure looked at Sam's throat with its dark red eyes. He slowly approached Forest's dead body, keeping his eyes on the dark figure in the far left corner of the room. He crouched beside the dead body. His right hand felt its way up the side of Forest's pants until his hand touched the keys.
He used his other hand to get the keys off the key-chain. The keys fell into his right hand. He started to pull both of his hands back when the keys slipped out of his right hand and fell to the floor. The keys landed on the floor with a loud cling. Sam froze with fear, his eyes looking down at the keys then he raised his eyes to the dark figure.
To his horror, the dark figure was moving toward him! Sam snatched up the keys off the floor, got up to his feet, and ran out of the cell. He didn't stop running until he got to Jack's cell. He struggled with the keys, trying to find out which one unlocked Jack's cell. "It's coming!" Sam heard Jack yell then he spun around. The dark figure was out of the cell and now it was walking toward them. He spun back around to Jack's cell. He finally found his cell key. He slammed the key into the lock and turned the key.
Suddenly, two strong shadowy claw-like hands grabbed Sam by his shoulders and the hands spun him around so he was face-to-face with the dark figure. Sam gasped as the dark figure threw him into the air just as Jack opened his cell door. The dark figure watched as Sam hit the ground hard. The figure walked toward him then the figure took a hold of Sam's feet and it started to drag him toward his cell.
"Jack, Run!" Sam yelled at him as the figure dragged him toward the cell. "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" Sam screamed, clawing at the stone floor, trying to get a hold of something to hold onto but there was nothing. He screamed as the dark figure dragged him into the darkness of his cell. Sam's screams stopped, then Jack heard the chomping sounds the bones made as the dark figure ate away at Sam. Jack didn't want to stand there and wait there to be next so he took off running. He was heading to the entrance. He looked back and saw more dark figures were coming out of the other cells. The figures were running at him, their shadow claw-like hands clawing nothing but thin air.
Jack pounded on the doors but they wouldn't open. He spun around and saw that the dark figures were getting closer, closer, and closer. He put his face in his hands and yelled, "GO AWAY!" Jack lifted his face out of his hands and looked around. He didn't see any of the dark figures. He slowly walked through the empty hallway. He saw movement out of the corner of his left eye. He looked to his left then he saw movement to his right so he looked right.
Suddenly, he felt himself being lifted off the ground. Jack looked up and gasped. There were at least four dark figures holding onto him with their claw-like hands. Jack was floating up and up toward the ceiling. He let out a scream, as the four figures smiled, revealing two rows of razor sharp teeth. He turned his head to look at all four of the figures. He saw their eight bright red eyes all staring at his throat. He screamed again as one of them sunk its razor sharp teeth into his throat. Blood went flying everywhere, landing on the ground with loud splashes.
His scream faded as he died from blood loss. Once the shadow creatures drank all of his blood, they dropped his body onto the ground. His body hit the ground with a loud thump. The shadow creatures licked their lips, tasting Jack's blood on their teeth. The figures floated back down to the ground. They took one good last look at Forest's, Sam's, and Jack's dead bodies lying in pools of blood. The shadow figures then turned around and they walked off into the darkness then their bodies started to disappear into thin air until there was nothing left of them.
