Just Friends?

I woke up to the sound of Thomas' voice, obviously.
"Lucy! Wake up! It's the big day today!" He said.
He was talking about auditions for The Maze Runner. A movie that is going to be directed by Wes Ball. I'm auditioning for Teresa (the only girl.) And Thomas is auditioning for Newt! He'd make the perfect Newt. I've read the books, in fact I'm a big fan of the books, and Thomas would be great at him.

I get out of my bed and start to get ready. I practise my lines as I get changed out of my giraffe onesie. (Thomas bought me it a few years ago.)

It's 8:30, auditions in an hour. However the studio is only half an hour away.
"Thomas! Time to go." I shout.
"I'll be right there Lu, I'm just putting my shoes on!" He replies.

After about 5 minutes of waiting Thomas finally gets in the car, ready to drive.
I'm a good driver but normally I get tired on long car journeys, so Thomas does the driving in this case.

We get to the studio just at the time we'd planned, 9:00.
Before going into the studio, we grab a quick bag of crisps and a drink. I get Fanta and Cheese and Onion crisps. After 15 minutes of us practising and chatting, we set off into the studio. I try to calm down as my hands are shaking. We find ourselves in a line of people such as Dylan O'Brien, Ki Hong Lee and much more.
