Chapter Three
I shot again and groaned, missed, if I was going to actually help and not get us killed, I had be be able to shoot something.
I sucked in a breath and aimed for another shot, I pulled the trigger and grunted in anger, missed, again. I readied for another shot, this time, for sure, when two strong arms gripped my waist, I jumped. Jordan,
" Stay stronger here. Put the gun higher on your, there, yeah, other hand there, try stand up straight," Jordan said, adjusting things as he went, his fingers leaving tingles on my skin. I twitched my head, focus.
I took another deep breath and pulled the trigger, right in the middle of the tree trunk. I grinned at him.
" Thanks. You um, you here to practase?" I asked awkwardly, lowering the gun slightly. He shook his head and dug into his weapons belt, pulling out knifes and held them out to me. He gestured to the tree. I turned and readied to throw.
" No, feet that way, arm here, looking through, straight throw, don't flap your arms," he said, correcting me again. I froze as his hot breath huffed onto my neck, I felt goose bumps on my arms. He let go and stepped back waiting for me to throw. I ditched to knife, it hit the tree. I threw another, right next to the other knife, another, and then another, all hit the tree perfectly. I smirked, finally, something I could be useful at.
" Have you ever tried archery?" He said, seeming satisfied with the knifes. I nodded slowly, memories flooding back to me, I pushed them away, but not before Dad came. I blinked back tears, Jordan had gone to get a bow so I took a deep shaky breath, and squashed my emotions back down.
" Here, try this," Jordan puffed, handing me a bow and a bag full of arrows. I slung the bag across my back, felt good to be back in the game.
I took a deep breath and chose an arrow, I stood stiff, posed, ready to shoot, I breathed out, and let go of the arrow. It smacked into the tree.
" Good job, you're odviously experienced with a bow, moving target?" He smirked. I winked in return, I loved this weapon.
Jordan got a rock and ditched it into a bush, a handful of birds flew out. I quickly aimed and shot one of them down, not stopped until all three were on the ground. Jordan nodded again, satisfied.
" Good job, thanks for the dinner," he said with a cheeky smile, jogging off to collect the food.

Before I knew what was going on I was fighting Jordan, full on fist fighting. He struck me in the stomach and I doubled over, anger raged through me.
" You're too weak, you need to be fast, watch carefully," he growled. He stepped and struck out again, I ducked and slammed my elbow into his back, he scowled and fell to the floor but quickly recovered and leapt back up. I lunged for him, but that only earned me a knee in the chest. I spat on the floor and let out a growl. He kicked out and I dodged out the way. I took a step closer, he stepped and lunged out again, I ducked and punched up and into his jaw, he fell to the ground and groaned, rubbing it. I stepped over him and bent down.
" I'm not that bad," I smirked.
" No but they aren't going to be that slow with their attacks, you need to learn how to be faster," he said. Then he reached up and grabbed me, pulling me onto the ground and flipping ontop of me.
" Like that," he said in his low voice, flashing his cunning smile.
" ROSE, JORDAN WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Jacob yelled. We scrambled up before he saw, that would not go down very well.
" YOU BETTER NOT BE HAVING SE-"
" Right here dick" He said playfully punching his arm. He laughed and slapped him back, throwing a wink at me before we all went back down to the make shift camp.

Darrin and Lili were talking all business, plans, maps, supplies. We all sat around and begun the plans.
" So, first attack, well, after the Uh, stealing," Jordan started. Jacob nodded his head and sat in deep thought.
" Lili and I managed to get some kind of map from the warehouse. It appears to have the route of the trucks and all the other warehouses marked on it," Darrin said.
" Does it have anything else on it?" I asked shrugging. Darrin reached behind him and brought out a map and lay it down.
" Take a look for yourself. It was in one of the satchels we found," he said, leaning back, looking proud. I frowned and studied it for a moment. Mountain ranges, plains, a small collection of extremely long red lines meeting at black dots. Some were smaller than others, that either showed their size of their importance.
" Any idea which one we're at?" Jacob sighed. Lili pointed at a black dot.
" Matches the ground levels and directions. That's the only one it can be," she said sounding bored.
" Who votes when the nest load of trucks come in we blow that thing up, start of our mission," Darrin said, sitting back up. I thought for a moment, good start, good warning, take out their supplies, they'll go into panic mode, plus we didn't have to go far to find one.
" I'm in, but unless one of us knows how to make bombs, can't do it. Hand grenades won't cut it," I said.
" I'm in, was in the military for seven years, making explosive goods in my middle name," Jordan said.
" I'm in," Jacob nodded.
" I guess I'm in, just killing people, it's just. Not how I've ever done anything," Lili shrugged. Darrin shuffled slightly, then looked hard at her,
" Lili this is Rächer ok. The Terrims are all filthy people who deserve to rot and die. We're a group of lousy teenagers who are going to take them down, when you're up against this kind of enemy, we're going to have to kill people," Darrin said firmly. I couldn't agree more.
" Great, we'll talk plans tonight, Jordan lets go make some bombs," I said, slapping Jordan on the back, braking the ice with a way over happy smile.
