Viutempi was strange, oh he was, and you better believe it.

Even the name Viutempi sound strange.

You're probably pronouncing it (vee-you-tehmp-ee) rather than the unique pronunciation of (Vuhg-uh-tawmp).

But, it wasn't his name that distinguished him from the rest of the creatures of the life that roamed in his land; it was his land.

Infini held the answers that so many people sought for. Infini symbolized the relationships made each second, the simple but astonishing breath movement of life, the humble blows of wind through the mountains after a satisfying hike.

Infini is infinity, or as many famous philosophers of the Earth, dimensions and galaxies and years away from Infini, would say, time.

Time being a galaxy, yeah sounds like a rando fantasy Wattpad story created from the brain of a writer who knows nothing about the real world...

but, you can be damn sure that it's true.

And, Viutempi, he protected it from the dangers of... well, no one knows. That's how good he is. But, it also scares Viutempi; how is he supposed to preserve an area from an entity he cannot feel, nor sense, nor see, nor understand?

Viutempi decided to fly around Infini to shake off the worries jumping on his back like a little brother wanting a piggy-back ride.

The worries wouldn't leave.

They clinked on, holding ever so tight in a formation Viutempi could not do undo, magic and all.

There was something wrong. There was something so wrong with Infini, with the galaxies he had to maintain.

As Viutempi landed on a slither of Bruime, he felt it. All of Infini felt it -- the breaking through.

Viutempi couldn't see anything but one person he monitored regularly. He saw her struggling to finish what she loved. He saw a shaking of a world he did not comprehend. She was doing something with time. But, Infini's pain didn't originate from her. Viutempi saw her for some stupid reason. But, it felt like fate.

The land of Infini, once bright with a shining spark that alleviated all fear, was dark. Pitch dark. Like the batteries of the world disappeared. Nada.

An isolation covered the entire world. Although land or time can not speak, Viutempi could hear the groans and the yelling and the pain.

He could not feel, sense, see, or understand.

Oh... now it made sense.

Viutempi shakily breathed, the worries that wouldn't leave elevating to completely transform him. Infini's land fell on him, trapping him, literally. With one last command of his magic, he did the unspeakable: communication.

And, then, he crashed. He fell. He knew nothing. He couldn't do anything. But, he understood.

The danger he knew nothing of had escaped, was roaming Infini and time, and was causing calamity wherever the danger left.

And, Viutempi, despite powers, flying, glittery dust, love, time, and infinity, he felt utterly, and uselessly alone.

*BRUIME IS A WORD FOR LIKE A LEAF MADE OUT OF MIST -- HARD TO EXPLAIN

Hello! This whole chapter is probably hurting your brain, like literally. It doesn't even make sense to me -- to be honest. But, I'm hoping it soon will. I thought the idea of this chapter being chapter Infinity seemed really cool; maybe I'm just a weirdo. Anyways! Did you guys like this prologue of some sort?

I hope this was a decent introduction into the story, keeps you wondering, and sort of introduces the two main characters: Viutempi and May. We don't really get a huge introduction to May, you just see Viutempi feeling of May and her research. But, do not worry!!! May gets chapters to herself before, well, she conquers the past.

I really do love mixing sci-fi and fantasy together, so we'll see how this one turns out.

Please consider liking this chapter as it really helps me out!

And, the motto for this book is "the clock never lies." And, there's an interesting story behind this. Because, the clock does lie. Daylights savings and errors with the electricity and stuff like that happens all the time which influences the clock. But, time stays constant, never lies. What I'm trying to say is different things can influence how you think you are, but, if you can reach your core, you can be pure again. And, I hope this reflects May Reed very well.'

ANYWAYS, I hope you all have a lovely day, and thank you for reading.

Bye bye!
