 "May the ameno archon protect you stranger! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. You don't look like citizens..Explain yourselves!" 

 "We're not looking for trouble!" Paimon said waving her tiny arms in defense which made Amber stare at the 3 of you crossing her arms. "That's what all the troublemakers say."

"[Status Update! Relationship update from Amber: Plus 2 D Points]"

'Well ouch that hurt-'

"Hello, I'm Aether."

The brunette turned to look at the traveler 'Wait aren't Aether and I technically aliens-' "And those two" She turned her head to face both Paimon and [____}. "What's the deal with them?" Aether gave a smile, "This is my Emergency Food, and my zombie friend"

"Hey! Paimon is not emergency food!!"

They gave a closed eye smile and waved at the outrider who stared at them in confusion. To be completely honest, they had no plans to stick with the traveler for their travels, cruel or not, [_____] views themselves to rather not be public enemy number one in every nation they enter.

"...as they said, I am [_____] a zombie." 

"..alrighty- wait Zombie?"

With that question all they did was give a shrug. Amber although still confused shook her head to refocus before speaking again "Well you came here at a bad time, there's been a large dragon spotted around Mondstadt recently. You should get inside the city as soon as possible. It's not far from here, I'll escort you there."

"Oh? Aren't you out here for some other reason?" Paimon questioned "I am. But not to worry I can keep you both safe while doing that to! Besides...I'm still not sure if I can trust you three just yet!"

Aether looked at Amber with a puzzled complexion "Why so suspicious?" You gave a nod to the question "A rude way to treat guests don't ya think?"

"Oh..ahh..I'm sorry. Probably not something I should say as a knight. I give you my respect...Strange yet...Respectable travelers!" [_____] chuckled a bit at the offended look of Paimon. "That sounded so fake!"

"Pftt..."

"He-Hey! Do you have something against the type of language usage prescribed by the Knights of Favonious Handbook?!"

"So, suspicious travelers, what are you doing in Mondstadt?" The outrider questioned "You see, Traveler got seperated from his sister during a very long journey, and [____] is a zombie that just woke up! Paimon is here to help Aether find his sister and help [_____] remember who they are!" 

They winced lightly at the bright sun, how troublesome, everything felt too real.

Guess they really were going to be stuck here forever huh

"Oh... "

"Looking for your family..Not knowing who you are..."

Amber paused in her tracks to think for a while before turning back to you and Aether "Let me finish my other stuff first, I'll help put up posters around the city and I'll also try to conduct some research to help you too [_____]!" Paimon floated next to them, constellations and all "What exactly is it that you need to finish doing first?" They look with a dazed expression looking at the clouds.

"It's simple, you'll understand in a bit."

The bandages felt uncomfortable, but they kpet their smiling exterior up without a complaint. They'll leave the traveler after Liyue, after Liyue, the traveler can do whatever he needs to, [_____] doesn't care for him anyways- after all- the traveler was just a character.

but they aren't characters now are they?

"Ah! A hilichurl!" The yell made them snap out of their thoughts, watching with a blank stare as Amber pulled out her bow. "These monsters have been getting to close to the city recently! My task this time is to clear out their camp"

Making quick haste, Aether saw Amber calling for them, and after a bit of reluctance, [_____] followed afterwards. The familiar sound of the Hillichurls and rustling of bushes made them turn their head.

With quick precision Aether utilised anemo to hurtle the Hilichurls away and used his sword to get rid of the rest.

[_____] stared at their hands, eyes furrowing a bit, there as a feeing of static as electro sparked into their palms before fully forming.

Electro Spirits.

Hm..

With a deep breath in, the characters on their seal glowed. There was a screaming wail and a group of hilichurls were tackled and then faded away. Whispers, they heard whispers cry and tell them secrets that shouldn't be told to any mortal, secrets which would drive anyone insane.

Their hands gripped into a prayer position fingers intertwined in a poor mockery of begging.

Then it ended.

The other two didn't notice it.

"..thank god.." They let out a sigh

They turned their head to see the area Aether was dealing, which was being demolised by a tornado he created. they paused and then thought for a while 'If I steal a rifle from the fatui..' 

Guns were better, in all ways, but, magic is magic, a magical  bow which worked like a automatic machine gun could also work.

"Go go baron bunny!"

[_____] turned their head to see a familiar plushie that then started dancing. They immediately took a couple of steps back without hesitance. Aether looked at them with confusion.

until it exploded.

Amber quickly ran up to the two of them with a bright smile "You guys did great! You really surprised me with those moves! Anyways, thanks for the backup. How'd it feel?"

[_____] with quick change in personality gave a bright smile placing their hands on their hips, "Barely broke a sweat!"

 "Those things are tougher then they look" Aether said, his aloof expression unchanging. "Now that you mention it, how is it that hilichurls ended up here? These creatures don't seem like the type to set up camp so close to cities like this." Paimon said making a thinking posture.

"Exactly. It's more normal for them to be much further out in the wilderness. But because the dragon- Stormterror- has been around a lot more recently, our orchards have been destroyed and the local market has been affected as well. When the storms hit, we usually end up with at least a few injuries, so the Knights of Favonious have been tied up doing the best they can to defend the area."

"So these annoying creatures have been getting closer and closer to the city?" Paimon questioned "Exactly. That said clearing this camp helped make the area a little bit safer." Amber then looked towards [_____] and Aether

"Come with me! A responsible knight must make sure to see you to the city safely!"
