"Okay..a few more metres...Stop here" Emily said dropping out of the car. She rushed to a boat nearby. Compared to the other shining in their splendour in that beautiful sunny day, it looked a bit miserable, if not odd. She dashed to the pilot cabin and tried to start it. After few rumbles, the boat gave an odd heave.

"C'mom" Emily prayed, trying again. It was so lucky that Harry had left there her boat and he had taken Niall's. But now she need that heap of metal to do its job. Finally, after one more try and some grunts, it started to clatter.

"Yes!" she exclaimed at the top of happiness.

"What are we doing with this piece of shit?" Louis materialized behind her, as gloomy as a ghost. Emily shuddered at his expression; as if it wasn't clear enough she wanted to take Harry back with that piece of shit. Sure it was old, but it was maybe the dearest thing she had in the world. She was on that boat when she had met Harry...or better when Harry had come into her life. Behind Louis' shoulders, she spotted the sight where, waking up one morning a long time ago, she found Harry sleeping next to her. His soft body had kept her warm during the night: he was no naïve and cool at the same time, she had immediately felt something for him, even if it took her time to understand how big that something was. Who could have imagined that she would have been led to the altar by that man?

Memories crowded her mind. Her long, white dress sweeping the floor, the jingling sounds of the guests in the church, the myriad of flowers around filling the expectant air with their intense smell. Then silence and from the bottom of the church a little organ started playing the wedding song. It was her moment. She had taken a long breath and then she had slid along the nave as if in a dream, unaware of what was going on. Till she saw him and it all made sense. Harry was waiting for her at the altar and he was just most handsome than ever, with his elegant wedding suit and his perfect curls around his serious face. She remembered how his eyes shone as he mouthed "You are beautiful", a proud smirk on his face because he knew she was his and nobody's else. And then for her silence again, because everything was muted by the way he pierced into her soul as it became one with his. All of sudden she was urging her vows. And he his.

"I give you my life, Emily, because you are the person I love most in the world. I love you with every piece of my heart and soul. I'll keep you by my side and I'll protect you till the end of time. I promise I won't let your heart break, or this love we have go away. We came this far together, we are meant to keep walking on forever. Just let me here by your side, my love and..."

"We'll find the way through the dark" she regiously uttered with him because she knew his speech by heart, too. And she swore on his words, too. Before she could say "I do" Harry was kissing her so hard that it hurt and placing the ring on her finger. Then they were both chucking at the people in the church, who had seemed to appear from nothing...and the bells were ringing...

"We are not going to use this piece of shit" Louis insisted, calling her back to reality. "Let me call Larry", he said with a smirk. Larry was like his butler, but she didn't know why he had to smirk every time he pronounced that name. Even the other lads smirked when he mentioned him; all excepted Harry who once had asked him why he had had to hire a guy with just that time. Louis had laughed at him straight into the face and had gently said to fuck off.

"Hi Larry man, I need my boat. What does it mean for when? For now, what the hell! What? Why is not possible? Not ready? What's that supposed to mean? You are sorry? Fuck, Larry, fuck off!" he shrieked at the phone.

Emily gave him a chuffed smirk and, raising her chin, pointed the keys of her boat. Louis had no choice. He lowered his head accepting his defeat. Smiling openly Emily jumped out of the boat.

"Where the hell are you going now? I thought we were going to find Harry" Louis yelled clueless.

"And we are. But before that we need to take heavy clothes, some food and I need to sort things out for Darcy. I'm her mom and I can't just leave like that...". Louis was agape for a rare time in his life. Emily was happy to have somehow impressed him.

"Why don't we go now, Louis?", Emily asked him since he was standing still. He shuddered and pierced her with a envious look, as if he had remembered something. Emily shrugged and accepted that evil look in silence. For a second she had really thought they could start a civil cooperation, but Louis wasn't of the same opinion. He started the car and drove again towards the city, in complete, absolute silence. But Louis' mean attitude, or hate, to call it with its proper name, didn't touch Emily at all. While the car ran fast amid London's high buildings, all she cared about was Harry, and where he was and what he was doing.

Hi guys!! How are you doing? In this chapter you find a small, minuscule, microscopic recap of the story ( called It's not Easy) from where the characters are taken...this whole thing makes me smile because when I wrote the last words of that story I thought I was completely done with it - I was even kind of depressed because I started to love the characters as real friends from this boring life of mine. But now here I am or here we are -author, characters and readers again.

I love you :)

ps: this week-end is reaaally super boring!
