I sighed, I had found a hotel to stay at, but the thing was, it cost 5,250 Valis for night, 1 night.
So now I was down to 9,750 Valis, and that was not good, as that would leave me one more night before I was out on the streets.
I sighed, "Being an adult suck's."
I walked down back to the tower, I had heard that you could earn money by killing monsters, and gathering their stones in a dungeon, under babel, and luckily for me, killing monsters was my specialty.
I walked down the stone stairs, heading down into the first floor of the dungeon
So there monsters down here? If there are, why haven't any come up to the surface?
I quickly erased those thoughts, as a little green man came running at my, I quickly uncapped Riptide.
Sloosh!
The blade ran through the goblins body like butter, leaving the upper half to fall over.
Thump!
Another's head hit floor a few seconds later, I kept slashing, using the most effective way l's to my knowledge, to kill each and every last one of them, which was a lot, considering there was like, what? 30 Goblins?
I continued slaughtering them, one after another, killing them all, a few minutes later, and I had killed all of them, all that was left were some Decaying corpses, the origin of the decay, were stones, all in a pit of darkened flesh.
I quickly went around, plucking the stones, corpse after corpse, body after body, until I was done.
And a soon as I was, I walk in deeper, I had been warned to not go deeper than the first floor, especially without Falna, but they didn't know I was a demi-god, or that I had experience in fighting.
And with that, I ventured on, walking down another set of stairs, beggining my descent into the second floor.
And once I did get there, it looked exactly the same as the first floor, I was a little darker if that scored any points.
I took a few more steps when I heard a soft pop and parting air above me.
Slice!
Thump!
The head of a lizard dropped on the floor.
Lizards? Really? What are you going to throw at me now? Dogs? Cats?
I instantly regretted those thoughts as a giant monster, with a dog's head, walked out of the shadows, our eyes met briefly, before it charged.
I also charged, albeit a lot slower than the dogs, but then again, could I really compete with that thing?
I quickly ducked, sliding under the dog headed beast.
Thump!
The leg of the beast dropped, and the dog fell.
Ooo, that's gotta hurt!
I quickly ran back, and stabbed it behind the neck, stabbing at it's body a little before finding the stone.
I quickly went around again, killing more monsters, which were either Lizards, Dog-monsters, or Goblins.
I looked at myself, I was a sight, being covered in monster blood from the chest down.
I sighed, feeling my pockets grow heavy from all the stones.
Guess it's time...
I started heading back, the adrenaline I was feeling before, slowly fading, as I made my way up to babel.
Wonder how much Valis this is worth?...
Soon enough, I made it the final stair case and started heading up, the fatigue finally showing its face.
My legs quickly grew heavy. Just as I made it to the top, I sighed in relief and started to walk towards the guild, hoping to get my money and get out.
I soon got to the main entrance of the guild and went in, once again, hoping to get some money.
"Hello, what may I do for yo-u?" Said a receptionist, doing me a once over, her eyes lingering on my bloodied armor before looking back up.
I pulled up a sack of stones.
"Yeah, I would like to sell these."

I hummed, content with my new balance of 9,750 Valis, I had earned 10,000 from the stones, which was an impressive amount, seeing as I had only gone down to the second floor.
I quickly walked out of the guild, the bell chime ringing behind me, signaling my leave.
I walked through the city, and decided to go back to my hotel, and leave some money there, which was what I would need for another stay, and another meal, in the end, coming back with 13,500 Valis for personal use.
I walked around Orario a little more before coming to a place that caught my attention. The place was called "Hostess of Fertility", I went in.
As soon as I did, I was bombarded with the smell of food, I quickly went to sit down, finding a place in the corner, as I did, a cat person walked my way.
"May I get you something, sir?" She said, staring at me.
"Aahh, yes, please, could I get some noodles, and whatever drink you think is best."
She quickly wrote it down on a pad.
"Will that be all?"
"Yes."
She left, and I sat there waiting, just enjoying the relaxed ambient.
After a few minutes, my food arrived, and what I had were some noodles and a red looking drink.
The first thought that came to my head was, "Did they give me wine?"
I quickly took a sip, and it tasted quite fruity, almost like fruit punch, but it also had a little sour to it, a weird combination.
I then looked around at all the signs, and now, I noticed I knew how to read them, but they were totally foreign, so I was stumped on how i knew how to read them.
I sighed, finishing up my food, paying them the 500 Valis, and leaving the pub, heading back to my hotel, ready to turn in for the night.
