The Lost Princess

Chapter 3

Author's Note: In this AU Darkstalker never was buried he just was banished from the Nightwing Tribe and is now in hiding and has his six dragonets one of them being Moonwatcher who is the youngest of her siblings.

4 year's later (Like Around the time when Moon joins Jade Mountain Academy)

As young Moonwatcher walks along the halls of her home high in the caverns of her home on her way for another lesson from her father Darkstalker. Most days she would be hanging with her brothers and sisters reading scroll after scroll on whatever their little hearts desire.

As she entered the room, she saw her father reading a scroll, "Ah, Moon now where shall we begin with our lessons" Darkstalker said with a smile, "how about future sight. I still need to get better" Moon said with a smile, "very well. Now have you had any future visions yet" Darkstalker asked, "none yet" Moon said with a frown," aw don't be sad little Moon someday you'll get a vision you just have to have faith" Darkstalker replied which brought a smile to Moon's face

" you know there is this school called Jade Mountain Academy and Mother thought I should go but I wanted your opinion?" Moon said as she fitted with her claws," hm well let me think for a moment" Darkstalker said as he thought about the pros and cons of her going, "well I guess but you must tell me how it goes. I'd love to hear it" Darkstalker says with a grin and Moon nods and hugs her father and goes to find her mother.

Darkstalker knew he could speak to Moon through her thoughts but what he was afraid of was what would the other children think if they knew Moon was his daughter. He didn't dwell on it. Instead, he just waited and hoped Moon would keep her father's identity a secret and hoped Moon would make good choices and soon Moon will meet new friends she hopes they will like her, and she would try her best to keep her parents a secret but that may be a challenge when one Icewing is curious about her family and starts to ask questions...
