Chapter 6

Morning is really pleasant. Birds are chirping everywhere in the sky, flowers are dancing on theirs stems. My heart literally fill with joy. I got up and started again moving towards my destination. Having no clue where exactly I have to go but all I know is there is someone who could help me go back to my world.

" You looking good today". Marry admired me.

We started our journey. After few hours walk we came near to the dense field. This field looked very strange and silent. Field ground were dry and death.

" This field looks dead and horrible". Marry sound worried.

Hmm I didn't had much words to say.

"Keep moving". I ran my eyes all over the field again before stepping in. As soon as I stepped in that I got a wave of shock in my body. My legs stopped on my track. I didn't made Marry realized I am not sensing anything good".

After a short walk she realized some strange activities happening in the sky. Many times a shadow passed over ours heads. I was unable to notice.

" Did you see that? " I asked my bird marry.

" Yeah! What was that? It was very huge thing?.

I didn't stop, I kept walking, I saw something flew over ours heads. This time I was luckly to catch the sight of that immense thing. It was a beast black bird with long and strong feathers. It kept taking around of us not allow us take any further step.

" Oh. I have never seen such a huge bird. It looks like a beast bird". I blinked, my mouth open in fear my bird sat down on my shoulder.

The bird landed on the ground in front of me. I kept looking him without saying any single word. I don't know what to say or how to react in this situation. I was just scared.

The bird is 7 feet taller and 10 feet wider. He has long and dark beak. He body has covered by very thick feathers. He's eyes like dark pearls. By face it looks like a pet, means he is familar to human.

I look him in fear.

" What should we do if he will step forward towards us". My bird sounded worried.

" Run back". I mumbled, My eyes were fixed on him.

He coming towards us slowly and steadily. I stepping feet back in slow motion. As the beast bird increased he's steps in sped. Before I could turn around I saw bird winked me.

" Did you see the bird winked us". I asked.

" Yeah! But I can not wink how did he winked". Marry inquired.

The bird smiled in a friendly way to me.

" He smiled "? I seem quiet surprised from his behavior.

" How are you friends". He looks delight seeing the bird. " Your bird is too small comparative my size". He taunted.

" This beast looks very sarcastic ". Marry complaint. I just smiled secretly in return.

" That's weird, you can speak". I stared crow in disbelieve.

" Certainly " crow winked back again. " Anyways how do you do?" he smiled.

" I am absolutely doing great thanks for your concern my dear friend". I replied politely with beautiful smile.

"I am not doing good. I'm not well in this dry field. I have no friends to communicate. I don't have anyone to hang out with". He's voice lower down in pain.

" oh that is so sad. I hope I could help you but I am sorry . I can not. I am lost in this magical world. I want to go back my home, one of the witch told me to go Witch City there I can able to find out the way out to get back my world". I go silent I had never spoken this fast ever.

" Hmm that is a scene. Okay, I don't mind. Of course you can proceed on your way but I need your one favour before you leave". He looks polite.

" Why not sure. I love to help you if I can.". I smiled back.

" I need this bird with me. As I have explained you my problem. I am alone here no one is here to talk to me. I assume this bird can speak like me". He shown an evil smile.

" This bird, nope she can not. She is very ordinary bird. She just chirp". I pretended.

" Oh really I saw you talking with her, if you weren't talking to her then to whom you were talking to". He wondered.

" To no one. I was talking to myself". I fake smile.

" Anyway never mind. Still I want this bird with me". He grabbed my bird into his dense feather. My bird chirpped in dismay.

I didn't know what to do next. He asked me to leave, without raising my voice I start walking from there. I don't want to leave my bird behind but how will I recuse her. Then I remember the blanket I had received from white witch. I take the blanket out.

" What this blanket do? White witch given me so must be this blanket having some thing into it, but the question is what does this blanket do? Suddenly I wrapped the blanket all over me and I disappeared. Oh this blanket has an ability to make me invisible. I think I should not go now. I should wait for the night fall. At dark it will be more easier for me to set Marry free from he's claws.

I waited until the night fall. I wrapped the blanket all over me and climb on the crow's nest. He is sleeping very deeply. Marry is in cage. I tip toe and open the cage without making any noise. The cage is not made strong it easy to break in but for those who have two hands like me either for those who have strong beaks like the beast crow. My bird doesn't have strong beak comparetive to crow.

" Hey， You are still here. I am glad to see you again. I thought you left me alone with this cruel crow". she rubbed her beak against my cheek in order to show me affection.

" No, I can not leave you alone". I ask Marry to get into the blanket, If he gets up he can't see us. Before we could leave， the crow woke up. He got panic when he didn't see marry in the cage. We both sat down for a while until he didn't move out from his nest. This magic blanket really helped my to recuse my bird marry. As soon as he moved out of his nest, silently we both also moved out tip toe. Like this unconconsiouly we have crossed the first Witch City.
