Beast boy hissed as Starfire dabbed the alcohol on his scratch wound. No one had said a word since they got back to the tower.

Cyborg sat in a chair, his hands on his head, trying to take in what happened. Starfire didn't look happy as she tried to be careful with Beast boy's wound. Raven seemed a bit calmer than the rest, floating criss-cross in the air. Robin was the one that seemed the most angry from the rest. Everyone else didn't move to much.

But Robin, he paced the room with his hands tangled in his hair and he stomped around until he turned to Beast boy again, for like the fifth time.

He spoke this time, "How could he ask you for such a thing!?" Robin demanded, "How did you guys even meet?"

Beast boy hated the way Robin glared at him.

"We met when i first learned of my ability. I didn't have very much experience and he had been there when I needed someone. We, well...we dated." Beast boy looked down, rubbing the back of his neck.

"And at some point I think i realized he didn't actually like me. He would snap at me, and tell me that I was supposed to obey him like a lioness and a lion." he cringed and he felt his stomach clench. "He told me that if I loved him, if I didn't want to be alone, I'd carry his children. And I told him I didn't want to and instead of talking to him about it, I ran away."

Robin's eyes looked so hurt, like it pained him. Like he wanted to help Beast boy but it was to late.

"I do not mean to sound weird, friend Beast boy, but on my planet males cannot get pregnant, is that different on Earth?"

"No," Cyborg answered, "It isn't. So why does Lion-Mane want you to try, Beast boy?"

"When my DNA changed to be able to turn into animals, it also changed many other things. The way I think, things I do, what I can and can't do, and it also changed how I can't get pregnant. Now, I can." Beast boy muttered the last part.

"The way you think? What does that mean?" Robin questioned.

Beast boy shook his head, "It's only a matter of time before my mind convinces me that I need Lion-Mane. That I need his children." He admitted, pulling down the neck area of his costume and showing them a bandage over his left part of his neck. "When the time comes that I'm alone, I'll be running back to him in need of his love, and I'll be back in that horrible relationship."

Robins eyes widened. Had Beast boy already given in? He couldn't let Beast boy be taken by Lion-Mane and he wasn't allowing Beast boy to be trapped in that type of relationship.

"We won't let you go, beast boy. You are one of us, and we aren't going to let you fall into a relationship you don't want." Robin said.

Beast boy just gently nodded, bringing himself on his feet and making his way towards his room. He was tired, and in distress. He couldn't think of anything to get out of this situation. Soon. Soon he'd be nothing but a child carrying used nothingness that lives with someone who doesn't even love him.

But, as Beast boy entered his room and let it close, he thought about it. Lion-mane had made a good point. All his friends would be leaving him soon to do their own thing, and Beast boy needed a place to stay. And where else was he going to find love. Who would love a weird green freak like him.

No, he shook his head. It's already starting! He didn't want to be with Lion-mane. he was his own person not a toy for others to use whenever they wanted.

He wasn't going to have Lion-Mane as his boyfriend. He was going to fight the animal instincts that was running through his veins.
