Diluc POV

Today was finally the Day.

The Day I would Confess my love to the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius.

Although I can't give myself all the Credit However...

Flashback to a few days ago

Third Person POV

It was a very Rare occasion on Which Diluc had to ask Venti for help with his love life in Exchange for Dandelion Wine.

Diluc had led Venti to the least conspicuous area of the tavern which
was on the 2nd floor. It was around 11pm at the time

"So your coming to me for help with your love life huh?" Venti said, with a slight smirk

"So, who's the lucky girl? Or guy, I don't judge" Asked Venti, genuinely curious

" Just... *sigh*Please don't tell anyone about this or your banned from the Tavern". Diluc said, quietly

Leaning in to whisper in Venti's ear, he said: "It's Jean" quietly

"Hoho! Didn't Really expect that but I won't judge". Said Venti, smirking a bit more "I'm guessing you want something Dandelion related?" Asked Venti

"Yes". Diluc Said, slightly blushing from embarrassment, after all, This was his deepest secret and he was telling it to Venti, of all people

"Alright, But it'll come with a cost however..." Venti said, Expectantly

" *sigh* Yes I know what you want".
Diluc grunted

"Excellent! I think I won't need to specify how many bottles now do I?"
Venti said, Not even trying to hide his smirk anymore

"We should discuss that later. Now about the poems?" Diluc said, finding Venti's alcohol addiction rather annoying

"Alright Alright, Just give me some time here, I can't just whip up a poem in just a second now can I?" Said Venti, starting to get quite tired do to how late it was

"Aren't you a God?" Diluc said sarcastically

"That doesn't have any effect on how fast I can think of poems though?" Venti said, yawning

"Alright, but they better be done by tomorrow afternoon." Diluc said

"Sure!" Venti said "But you have to have the wine ready by then."

Diluc grunted. "Fine." Said Diluc, This was was very important to him, for he thought the love of the Acting Grand Master was worth more than any amount of wine

"Fetch them at Dawn Winery 12'o'clock sharp" Diluc said, tired

"We have a deal!" Venti took out his own hand to shake, expecting Diluc to return it

Hesitantly, Diluc shook Venti's hand and then they had called it a night

The next day at Dawn Winery, Third  Person POV

"Where is that rascal?" Said Diluc, getting impatient

"Heyo Diluc! Got the poem right here" Said Venti, holding a piece of paper in his hand, waving it around

"Keep your voice down for crying out loud!" Said Diluc, embarrassed, Diluc reached his hand out for the paper containing the poem "Now give me that-" Venti snatched the paper away

"Ah Ah Ah~, Our deal, remember?" Said Venti smirking uncontrollably

"You can find the Wine to the left, now the paper?" Said Diluc, Annoyed

Venti turned his head, and there he saw: his absolute dream come true:150 bottles of Dandelion Wine.

He had dropped the paper while staring in awe of the sight

Taking the opportunity, Dliuc snatched the paper and immediately put it in his pocket And ran away while Venti was distracted by the concerning amount of wine

Diluc had just arrived in his office, out of breath and he read the poem:

"Saturday Night, walking through a field of dandelions, the wind is tossing your hair, walking alone in a field of Dandelions, my love for you is like the wind, never getting to your inside, but tosses near you"

"Its rather short, but it's perfect" Diluc said, relieved

This was one step complete, for he had no flowers for Jean yet...

To be continued...

Major Credits to my friend TanieIsGay for that poem btw
