Chapter 6.5 - An outside chat

Lizzy walked outside into the cold winter's night, the wind blowing past the white trees.

"Oh Hanako..." Lizzy sighed. "What shall I do..?"

"What's the situation?" Hanako said, preparing to help his friend.

"It's Ed and Monthy...they're making me choose between the two..I just don't know who..." Lizzy said, tears starting to stream down her wrinkled face.

"Hey hey..." Hanako patted her shoulder. "It will be ok..I promise." He said, a sincere look appearing upon his face.

"Yeah...thank you..." Lizzy replied, feeling glad she had a good friend in Hanako.

"Oh no!! I just got Lizzy..I love her too much to let her go right now!!" Ed Skylander said, beginning to worry deeply.

Ed walked outside onto his balcony on the 13th floor of Hotel Doofenshmirtz, the soft wind carefully blowing his ginger hair backward.

"After what happened with Peter...I just can't go back. I have to stay dedicated to Lizzy. I must do this. For him. For her. For them!" Ed Scatterbug shouted, his words echoing across the underworld, showing his determination to everyone who heard.

"You called..? Hehehehe." Peter Griffin said looking at Ed's back, in the shadows of his desolate apartment building.

"P-Petey cakes?!-" Ed said, quickly being shushed by Peter and his fat finger.

"I heard you and that hag Lizzy got married..Hm?" Peter said, removing his finger from Ed's red lips.

"Yes but...my brother Monthy objected and now Lizzy has to pick between us two.." Ed said, sweating of  nervousness being reminded of his issue.

"I'm sure she'll choose you Ed. You're a great guy." Peter said, making sure to make the right choice.

"Grahahaha!" Monthy laughed, knowing he would win Lizzy over easily. "We did it Palpatine!" Monthy roared, casting his serpentine gaze over towards the man in the black robe.

"Hehe. We did indeed, Monthy." Palpatine replied, a smile reaching across his face. "But Monthy...since you're such a dedicated worker...I have a secret to tell you..." Palpatine said, ushering Monthy toward him.

Monthy carefully followed Palpatine outside, onto the dock of Beach Forklesnap.

"I...." Palpatine said, quietly.

Palpatine whispered something into Monthy's ear, making him gasp.

"Ah!- Impossible!!" Monthy said, feeling betrayed.

"Don't worry...you'll see why I did this later..my best worker." Palpatine said, his smile growing to 18 inches.

"...goodbye for now Palpatine. I shall return later, my lord." Monthy said, casting his gaze away.
