IF THERES ONE THING I hate, it's mornings.
The idea of getting out of your warm and cosy bed, is bullshit. I mean who would want to
leave heaven? Not me that's for sure.
"Wren" My sister said holding out the 'n'
"Harley" I said in return.
Harley was my twin sister. Although you wouldn't think it at first but spending a mere 5 minutes with us both, proved we are in fact twins.
Harley had long blonde hair, her light brown eyes were beautiful. They often reminded me of honey. She had the cutest dimples and the most perfectly placed freckles.
Basically the definition of perfect.I on the other hand?
Not so perfect.Harley slid her way into my bed and snuggled with me.
"First day of senior year" She sighed.
"I know, we are getting so old" I cried.
She giggled and ruffled my hair. She skipped her way out of my room and into her own.
I groaned getting out of bed.
The sun was starting to peak out of my window. I opened the curtains and the window. I let the fresh air come in.
One thing I loved about living in the middle of no where was the air.
Although sometimes it smelt like cow shit.
But nonetheless I loved it. I'm pretty sure I've grown a super power because I can smell when it's about to rain.
The perks of living in Arizona where it hardly ever rains.I walked to my closet and pulled out a burgundy crop top and some light wash jeans. I paired the clothes with my trusty converse.
I made my way to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth.
Again my sister made an appearance.
"You need to do something with your hair" She said picking it up.
"Uh-huh, like what?" I mumbled.
"Let me curl it!" She smiled.
Harley was going to school to be a cosmetologist. She was going to make a damn fine one. This girl has been doing hair and nails since we were little. She made tons of money doing girls hair and nails for prom over the last couple years.
"Okay fine, but hurry. I'm hungry" I huffed and sat down on the toilet.
She grabbed her curling iron and turned it on.
She started on my hair.
My hair stopped just before my boobs. So it didn't take super long.
"Ugh I wish I had your hair. It's so healthy and thick! Gosh woman!" She said wrapping my hair along the barrel.
"Oh please. You have such long and pretty hair" I said facing toward her.
"Well thank you little sister" She smiled.
She loved using the whole 'I was born two minutes earlier than you so i'm obviously the boss'.
I smiled at myself in the mirror. I should really start doing my hair, it looked really pretty.
My brown hair complimented my olive skin tone and my hazel eyes.We made our way downstairs to our mother cooking breakfast. Pancakes and bacon were a staple in the Bryant household.
"Hello girls" My mom said giving us our plates.
I gave her a smile and sat down starting in on the food.It was delicious. My mom was such a good cook. Thankfully for me, she passed it down to me.
I had dreams of being this big shot chef.
Like it was going to happen, but a girl can dream.
