"why isn't she answering?" jikyung wonders, placing the phone down.

a loud door slam was heard, revealing hyunbi sweating heavily looking like she ran so far.

"hyunbi? you weren't answering my call. why did you visit my dorm?"

hyunbi didn't say anything but burst into tears and hugged into jikyung tightly making the girl froze in shock but hugs back, wrapping her arms around the girl.

"what are you so sad about?" jikyung asks, gently pulling away from the hug cupping hyunbi's cheeks, wiping her tears away.

"jikyung, i just want things back to how it used to be."

"i want to be friends with gyemi again, we were so happy.. i thought those moments would last forever- now, everything is so.. different and uncomfortable. i just want to be a kid again. i miss everything. now, i've ruined it. i knew she'd never like me back, but i was so dumb thinking she'd feel the same" hyunbi sobs on jikyung's sweater crying loudly.

jikyung sighs, softly stroking the girl's hair gently patting her back.

"i miss the old times.."

"gem!" the kid shouts, calling the girl's name.

"hyunbi!" gyemi giggles running towards her bestfriend, hugging her tightly.

"i missed you, i wish i didn't go in a vacation so i'd see you everyday." the girl jokes making gyemi laugh.

"hyunbi idiot, we see eachother everyday. its just a week we didn't last seeing eachother!"

hyunbi pouts, "so you didn't miss me?" the kid pouts making the other child panic

"noo! i missed you so much!" gyemi giggles, kissing hyunbi's side cheek, making her flustered as she held her cheeks.

"when we grow up, i'll kiss your lips next!" gyemi points at the girl's lips.

"what? ew, no!"

"mom said when two adults love eachother very much, they kiss. right over here." she says pointing at hyunbi's lips.

hyunbi pouts, touching her lips.

"and i love you the most!" gyemi adds, smiling

"really? but i heard girls and boys can only do stuff like that.." hyunbi replies

"my mom said that."

"ehh! she's wrong, you don't require a gender to love someone. that's stupid!" gyemi says as hyunbi chuckles.

"does that mean we can get married? even if we're girls?" hyunbi asks

gyemi nods, raising her pinky finger.

"yes, then promise me we will marry eachother when we're adults! okay?"

hyunbi grins, as the two connect their fingers together.

"promise!"
