Normally, George loved having the house all to himself, but this time he quickly got bored. Time went unbearably slowly. Ten minutes felt like an hour, and sleeping wasn't getting him anywhere at all. He kept tossing and turning and no position felt comfortable. The sheets were scattered left and right, hanging off the side of his bed.

His body was aching, so taking a walk wasn't really an option. If he hadn't just stayed in the freezing water for so long, he would have been free from this torture. Grabbing his phone from the bedside table, he entered the messenger app. Clicking on the contact with Dream displayed over it.

George: Can you come over? I'm bored

Dream: No youre sick :/

George: Please <3

Dream: fine

George smiled down at his phone, he knew Dream was convinced easily. He could probably convince him that the earth was flat if he wanted to. Forcing himself out of his bed, he made it over to the one and only mirror he had. His hair was a mess, looking like a bird's nest. The bags under his eyes were more visible than ever.

He almost had to look a little presentable since he made Dream come visit him. There wasn't much he could do though, besides brushing his hair. Maybe put some perfume on? No, that's unnecessary, he was hanging out, not going on a date.

Looking at himself one last time in the mirror, he took a deep breath before hearing noises coming from the front door. Deciding not to run, he calmly walked outside of his room. He didn't wanna seem too eager, right?

The handle gave in after a hard push, and opened to show a now seemingly dark-haired boy soaked in rain. George quickly moved to the side so he could step inside, out of the waterfalls coming from above.

"Why didn't you use an umbrella, idiot?" George asked, confused, giving a side glance to Dream while closing the door.

"I didn't want to carry it." Dream sluggishly replied, shaking the rain drop off of himself.

George scoffed, walking in the direction of his bedroom, signalling for the taller man to follow. Dream knew where they were going, so he skipped past George, and ran through the halls.

"Dream!" George shouted, running after him in fits of giggles.

As the blonde's head was turned for a slight second, he ran straight into the wall, landing on his back with a thumph. Stopping behind him, the brunet burst into laughter, covering his mouth with both his hands.

Soon both were practically screaming at the dumb situation that had just occurred. And after quite awhile George started coughing, being reminded that he was still sick. Getting on his feet, Dream walked over to check if he was okay.

Looking up, Dream saw that he was no longer coughing, but his eyes were red from tears.

"Maybe we should just watch a movie," Dream suggested, and grabbed one of Georges' wrists.

"Sounds like an idea." George answered, trying to give a small smile.

They didn't do much after that, watching some episodes of some shit show. George was half asleep and didn't really understand what was going on. While Dream was watching George.

George's POV:

My throat burned, still, it had been awhile since my cough attack. But it still hurt to swallow. My eyes grew heavy whilst watching TV. I could never watch the same thing for long, it always grew boring to me.

We hadn't said a word since turning it on either. I mean, what was there to say even? The only thing distracting me was Dreams' breathing. It was very heavy. Probably hot as well after being out in the rain.

I was cold though, even when I was wrapped up in a blanket, I was still freezing. Scooting over, I landed beside his arm, laying my head on top. Looking up to check if it was okay, he grinned.

Since he was wearing a t-shirt i could compare our skin tones. Dream was way tanner than me. I looked like a corpse compared to him. I pulled the arms of my hoodie further down, not wanting to look at it anymore.

"Cold?" He asked, concern was to be found in the one word.

"A little." I mumbled, I wasn't gonna admit i was shivering.

"Come here."

And before I could respond, he lifted me onto his lap, covering us both in a blanket. Now i was warm, but more because of how flustered i was. Needless to say, I fell asleep right after, and when I woke up i was alone again. With a note lying on my bedside table.

"Had to go, but didn't wanna wake you"

PS: you drooled on me :[
