(This chapther contains sexual assualt so if you find that unpleasant skip the part where George goes to the bathroom, i just think this is an important topic to bring up. And learn how it may be for the person involved)
This is chapter 4 of my book, and it's focused on the schools prom. I'll try making this chapter longer than the others (adding more details). If you haven't read the previous chapter go ahead and read that first. Btw my summer break has started, that means more and longer chapters :)
Georges POV:
There he was, kneeling infront of him. His big green eyes staring straight into his own, he couldn't help but turn red. George had never been asked by someone else to prom before, and it took a moment before George realized that he had zoned out. Dream still waiting for a response with a big grin on his face.
"Clay..." George let out no emotion following the name, which made Dream doubt his decisions.
"Yes, a thousand times yes" George almost shouted as he pulled Dream back on his feet jumping onto him lacing his feet around his waist and arms around his neck.
Dream returned the embracing hug and dug his head into Georges shoulder, taking in the moment. Dream pulled away gently from George grabbing his right hand, sliding the ring with the sun ingraving on Georges finger. it fitted perfectly, to Dreams relief. Dream already had his ring on and George noticed.
"You bought us matching rings?" George asked grabbing a hold of Dreams hand taking a closer look.
"Yeah they reminded me of you, and after everything you've done for me it's nothing really." Dream said rubbing the back of his neck a little flushed.
"I love it Dream, thank you." George said smiling bright as he was looking down at the ring now on his finger.
Clays POV:
He had done it he thought to himself. George liked the present and he had said yes to being his promdate. Everything seemed to being well after he moved to this school, to George. The day continued as normal, he met George sometimes in classes or in the hallway. Just getting a minute with George between classes made the day go by so much quicker for Dream. Until school was over and he had to go home.
(At Clays house)
Dream had to find something to wear to prom, he had to find it now or else he'd forget all about it. Prom was in five days, although Dream didn't really care about what he wore normally. This time it was different, this time he was actually dressing up for someone. He texted George after searching his closet to no use.
Dream:
What are you wearing to prom!!!
Gogy:
A suit, why are you wondering?
Dream:
WHAT KIND OF SUIT???
Gogy:
A blue one with a bow tie idk, panicked are we?
Dream didn't respond just ran downstairs, frantically looking around for his mom. He ran for what seemed forever until he saw her standing in the kitchen making dinner.
"What are you running around for?" Dreams mom asked still eyes focused on the food sizling.
"Do we have any suits?" Dream asked, you could hear he was desperate.
"Your dad may have some old ones he doesn't use anymore, ask him." Halfway through the sentence Dream was already running towards the room his dad was in.
