kalarnie was feeling off about today. she didn't know why.

maybe it was the fact kyle wasn't answering her. maybe it was the fact she almost always was messaging tommy.

there was something about tommy. that boy was just like a melody.

he felt like a cosy tune. she couldn't get enough of him.

"kalarnie, we're going out today." tommy grinned and she could sense it. as she spoke, tommy blushed on the other side of the line. "where to?"

"i'll pick you up in ten, kay?" and that was that. he sounded oddly calm. that frightened her a little but it was also extremely exciting, oddly enough.

she got into her best cosy outfit. i mean, if she was hanging out with a guy she found cosy, she wanted to match the vibe.

this is what she pulled together~~

fitting on her doc martens, a knock at her door interrupted her

fitting on her doc martens, a knock at her door interrupted her. she quickly stomped her foot in the shoe and opened it to tommy.

"you look... stunning." she grinned. "better than that uniform you wear five times a week."

"can only say the same for you, kalarnie. looks better than the tie." he retorted back with a chuckle. "anyway, we have to meet wilbur in ten minutes at the pier."

"the pier?" she asked as she gathers her bag with her phone and wallet, locking the door behind her. "wilbur's that tall fellow with the brown curly hair, is he not?"

"yep." "so why are we hanging with him?"

tommy tried to spit out an answer when he got tackled into a hug by wilbur. an older male, who looked about thirty, grinned and walked towards them.

"tommy, you've grown so much since the last time i saw you." the most sugarcoated, fake voice came out of wilbur's mouth and kalarnie snickered.

"i saw you the other day, you prick." this gave kalarnie way to giggle a little.

the older man walks up to her and they shake hands. "hello, i'm phil. tommy's talked nonstop about you."

looking over to him, tommy and wilbur were bickering back and forth. she turned back to phil. "well, glad to know he thinks highly of me. i'm kalarnie, just so you've heard it directly from me."

the two chatted as tommy stomped over. "philll, wilbur's being a dickhead."

wilbur simply shook his head. "stop lying tommy. your nose will grow longer."

this caused tommy to groan and push wilbur.

eating lunch, phil and tommy were talking and scrolling through instagram. wilbur turned to kalarnie.

"tommy talks about you all the time." he snidely remarked.

she raised an eyebrow. "really?" he nodded. "that's cute. that's really nice of him." she nodded as she ate another fry from the share plate the two shared.

"yeah but he's worried about a guy that you talk to."

"kyle? he's not my type. cute but i see him as a younger brother." she admitted. wilbur nodded as he took another chip from the small cardboard tray.

wilbur felt relieved, tommy didn't have to worry about the guy but did kalarnie like tommy back? he didn't know.

"does tommy like like me?" she asked, dipping the chip in some tartare sauce. wilbur felt flustered and he wasn't even the topic of the conversation.

"i-i'm not entirely sure on th-"

"not sure on what?" tommy's smile graced the conversation and the two perked up at his presence, phil trailing behind.

kalarnie went red. so did wilbur.

"on- on if we want dessert or not. these chips can really fill someone up." she saved. wilbur silently thanked her.

tommy scoffed. "i'm a big man, i don't need dessert!" kalarnie laughed at his odd comment, which made the tip of his ears go red.

he really did like this girl.
