It's 10:30pm and I just put Legend to bed. I went back downstairs cleaning up when I heard the door ring

I dried my hands off and unlocked the door surprisingly seeing Kyle

Me: oh hi

Kyle: wassup... can I come in?

Me: uh yea sure

He looks mad different now. A lil buffer, his lil beard and hair grown out, and he looks like he's really not in a happy space

I opened the door wider for him to come him and he walked in. I closed the door behind him and turned around giving him a hug

We hugged for a good while and then he pulled back rubbin my stomach

Kyle: how y'all been

Me: fine. Legend upstairs sleepin

Kyle: alright

Me: you hungry?

Kyle: i'm good just wanted to stop by and check up on y'all

We sat down on the couch keepin a safe distance

Me: how long have you been back?

Kyle: just got out an hour ago

Me: so you came straight here?

Kyle: yea.. Was it a bad time

Me: no but how you been

Kyle:i've been straight. None new

Me: oh... thanks for the baby shower and the gifts you sent sending

Kyle: did you enjoy it?

Me: yea I did but I wish you were there with us

Kyle: i'm sorry shit just got fucked up

Me: I heard... how are you feelin after the accident

Kyle: fine

Me: why didn't you tell me even before the accident with you almost ODing

Kyle: didn't want you to worry bout it and trip

Me: okay but shit like that I need to know. Like im not even mad you went to go seek help i'm actually really proud of you for that I'm just upset how you kept the fact that you almost died from me... TWICE

Kyle:Okay well you had your own shit goin on and on top of that you was pissed and not fucking with me. The fuck you want me to tell you when you said you hate me

Me: That doesn't matter Kyle despite whatever bs we go through we still family rather we like it or not and I still care about you regardless of our situation and I could of helped you

Kyle: and how were you gonna do that huh?

Me: so now you're questioning my kindness and the shit I can and willing to do?

I can't even get mad. I always knew he had a problem I just sat there and ignored it

Kyle: let me worry bout my bs and you stick to yours

Me: wow so it's like that? So you want me to sit here and watch you suffer mentally

Kyle:nobody suffering

Me: why are you pushing me away Kyle

I can see his hands slightly shaking and he was looking down

Kyle:ain't that what you wanted?Me to leave you alone and not get you mixed up in my shit
