It's 10am and it's about time for me to go to work. Since Bella is working today I have to take Legend with me to work. Not that it's a problem it's just I don't want Kyle to see him. Yet

Anyways I got us both ready , we stopped to get some breakfast and pulled up to my job

Tanisha:Heyy Legend

Legend: hi

Tanisha: here I got you a little gift for you since your birthday coming up

Legend looked up at me and I gave him a smile. I took his bag of food out his hand and he went up to her

Legend is a really shy kid. He doesn't talk to other people much and just stays to himself. His teacher said that he doesn't talk to anybody in his class unless he has too like offering someone crayons and other stuff. I wish he would open up just so he could have a lil friend but as long as he's happy and isn't doin no crazy shit like how these badass kids now and days then i'm good.

He went up to Tanisha and grabbed a little bag

Tanisha: Here's a lollipop

Legend: thank you

Tanisha: No problem. Have a good day Chanel

We made it to my office and Legend took his stuff out his backpack and sat in his area

Me: what did she get you?

Legend: coloring book of transformers and crayons

Me: Do you like it?

Legend: yes

Me: okay eat your food first then you can watch your show and color

I did my usual routine, dropped papers off at Kyle office and thankfully he wasn't in there but I went back to my office did my work.

As I'm doing my work and Legend watching his show I heard a knock on my door

Me: Come in!

The door opened and it's Kyle. I felt my heart instantly drop to my ass as Kyle walked in

Kyle: hey

Me: uh hey what are you doin here

I got up going up to him kinda blocking his view to see Legend

Kyle: just came here to st-

He looked over at Legend confused and looked at me

Kyle: you have a kid?

Me: uhh-

Legend: mommy can I take a nap

Me: um yea

I gave him his blanket and a pillow and helped him get comfortable on the couch. I turned around and faced Kyle seeing him staring at me

Me: so what brought you here

Kyle: yea uh two things I was wondering if i could take you out for lunch again and 2 if you would come with me to one of my meetings that's tomorrow

If I say no he'll think i'm hiding something and I don't wanna seem suspicious

Me: yea sure. Can my son come?

Not like he has a choice. If he can't come then I won't come period

Kyle: uh yea no problem I'll come by at 1:30
