Part 3

"Wake up Rose," JJ yells, jumping on my bed.

"Literally going to kill you if you don't leave me alone," I say.

"But then you'd go to jail and plus you like me too much," JJ says.

"Actually I've listened to enough unsolved cases I think I could get away with it and plus I could probably already go to jail for many reasons," I reply while getting up.

"No comment on the you like me too much huh?" he says with a stupid smirk on his face.

"I thought it was obvious that that wasn't true," I reply making him stop smiling.

"Y'know I found that very rude," JJ says pouting.

"Well, maybe you should've thought about that before you jumped on my bed," I reply getting closer to his face. 

"You are really asking for it aren't you?" He asked and at this point, our faces were less than an inch apart. He looked down at my lips then back at my eyes and I found myself doing the same. It seemed like we were going to kiss. And then... then my phone ringed. I remember being so angry when I saw Jhon B calling and was thinking I was going to beat his ass. And kind of to my surprise JJ looked upset too.

I answered the phone angrily and said "What the fuck do you want Jhon B."

"Somone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," he replies, "anyway the whole gangs at my house except for you and JJ so hurry up."

"Okay, okay we'll be there in a minute," I say and hang up.

"What did he want?" JJ asks.

"Oh he just said everyone's waiting for us," I say.

"Sweet we can talk to them about the key," he says and neither of us has the courage to bring up what happened before he called.

"Finally your here Pope keeps freaking out about yesterday," Kei says to me annoyed. I'm not surprised Pope is the smartest one in the group and most definitely has the most to lose, even though me and Kei are kooks. You see he has this merit scholarship thing and he's a finalist and he can finally be his dream as a coroner. I'm sure my parents are just going to make me go into law school instead of pursuing my dream as a writer but whatever at least I'll still be rich I guess.

"Listen Pope chill out it's no big deal it was just a few guys with guns," I say which doesn't really help the situation.

"Okay Pope just shut up for a quick second me and Rose have something to share with the group," JJ says.

"Finally you guys fucked," Jhon B says holding up a high 5 for JJ but then gets rejected and puts it down.

"Woah what about the no pouge on pouge macking rule guys," Pope says.

"Shut up Pope just let us enjoy this moment," Kie says to him.

"Uhhh guys," I say.

"What," they all say in unison.

"We aren't dating," I say.

"Oh, so it was just a one-time hookup thing?" Jhon B asks.

"We didn't hook up dumbass!" JJ says disappointing everyone.

"Then what did you want to tell us?" Jhon B says angrily.

"We found something," JJ says.

"A key," I finish.

"Motel key," he clarifies.

"Well let's find out who's room it is," Kie says.

"Merit scholarship!" Pope says.
