"SAM!" Exclaimed Gabriel, who suddenly appeared on Sam's shoulders. The hunter was knocked off balance by the sudden added weight, almost falling over.
"Gabriel! Don't do that! And be quite. We're kinda in the middle of a hunt here." The two Winchesters had been tracking this demon for the majority of the day. Now, late in the day, they had finally cornered the son of a bitch in an old house out in the country.
"A demon? Piece of cake!" Gabriel disappeared from the taller Winchester's shoulders for a minute, only to reappear a few moments later.
"There!" Gabriel said happily. "I took care of it." "Gabriel, what did you do?" Asked a concerned Dean. Gabriel smirked.
"I killed the demon! Now we can hang out!" The archangel slipped down from Sam's shoulders, looking pleased with himself. Dean however, looked irritated.
"Hey, this was our hunt! I didn't spend all day tracking this demon only for you to gank it with your fancy angle mojo."
"Ah cheer up Deano. Here I'll make it up to ya." Gabriel snapped his fingers, and the three were transported to the motel room where Sam and Dean were currently staying.
"Wait, we went there in my car. Don't tell me you left my car out there in the middle of nowhere cause I will kick your angel ass." Gabriel rolled his eyes, and snapped his fingers a second time.
"There. Your precious car is parked outside." Dean walked to the door that lead out, while Sam sat down on one of the motel beds.
"If there is a single scratch on her you're gonna wish you never left heaven pal." With that he exited the room. Gabriel's face slowly turned into a triumphant smile. "Finally." With a small wave of his hand, the hotel door made an audible click as it locked behind Dean.
"Gabriel what are you doing?" Sam asked cautiously.
"What? Is it so wrong to want a few moments alone with a cute hunter?" Sam froze. He felt a warm flush in his cheeks.
"You..You think I'm cute?" Gabriel sat down on bed next to the one Sam was sitting one. He faced the hunter, looking him in the eye. His usual mischievous demeanor had softened.
"Yeah Sammy. I do. I think you're an adorable little moose. And," Gabriel took Sam's hand in his own. "I want you to be my adorable little moose." Sam smiled a genuine smile, something the hunter didn't do very often, and it warmed Gabriel's heart to see. Then Sam put his other hand over Gabriel's.
"Only if you promise to be my beautiful angel."
