3- Love At First Sight

(Y/n's Pov)

I woke up from the sound of someone knocking on the door. I groaned and got up to open the door and was greeted by Padme, "Y/n you are awake." She said
"I just woke up." I replied as I moved to the side to let her in.

"It's beautiful isn't it." She gestured to the sunset which I knew I slept for the whole day.

"Yes, it's very beautiful." I replied while she walked to my closet reminding that the ball is tonight.

She went to my closet looking for a dress to wear for the ball, after five minutes of looking she found one.

(Ow!) I exclaimed while she laced my corset,"Sorry Y/n." She said.

When she finished my hair, I walked to my closet and got a lovely pink ball gown since her favorite color is pink. "Y/n, Thank you!" She squealed in excitement and helped with the corset and I did her makeup.

A knock on the door startled us, the door opened to reveal my father's most trusted guard, Rex, "Sorry for startling you your highness and M'lady but the king has requested you to be in ballroom in ten minutes." He said.

When Padme and I arrived, the doors opened wide, everyone turned to look at me and bowed.

I locked eyes one person, a man with blonde hair, blue eyes as blue as the ocean and had a scar over his right eye .

My father then introducesd me to four princes, Vincent Palpatine of Mustafar, Kylo Ren of Chandrila, Firmus Piett of Kamino and Anakin Skywalker of Coruscant, the one that I locked eyes with, maybe marrying him wouldn't be as bad.

Vincent and Kylo were too arrogant and cocky which is not what I want for a husband and the king of Naboo. I dismissed them and crossed their names off which left Anakin and Piett.

I got to know Anakin a little bit, he was kind, charming and attractive.

He wanted the same thing as me, love not power. Padme excused herself to talk to Piett.

I instantly knew she had a crush on him, Piett was attractive and charming but I liked Anakin.

"You know princess you are more beautiful than I heard." He said, I felt the heat rush to my cheeks and caused me to blush, " Are you blushing?" He asked. "No." I replied.

(Anakin's Pov)

When the opened, I saw her, she was more beautiful than I've heard. Everyone bowed before her. We locked eyes and in an instant I knew it was love at first sight.

Time skip

I saw her cross Vincent and Kylo's name which leaves Piett and my name on the list, not to sound cocky but I hope she chooses me.

I hope to marry her and make her queen of Coruscant.

Her friend whose name I learned, Padme and Piett excused themselves to talk. "You know M'lady you are more beautiful than I heard." I said as a tease, she started to blush so I teased her again, "Are you blushing?" I asked with a smirk. "No." She replied although it was a lie.
After a few more hours the ball came to an end.
