(Y/n's Pov)
I groaned as the morning sun hit me directly in the face. "It's time to wake up, your majesty. Padme said, "Give me five more minutes please, Padme." I groaned again as I covered my face with the blanket to avoid the sun.
She then chuckled and pulled the blanket down making me groaned for the third time. "Sorry, your highness but your parents has requested you to be in the dining room at half past eight to discuss something important." I sat up and sighed.
"They never have breakfast with me nor have any time for me." I said, "I know your majesty, maybe they would like to spend sometime with you." She said giving me a little motivation.
After a few seconds of silence passed, Padme then spoke.
"I've laid your day gown for you, your highness." She gestured to the lovely baby blue dress hanging by the window.
" Padme,how many times have I told you to just call me Y/n." I said in a non-strict tone. "Sorry, Y/n." She spoke as she laced the corset. "It's alright, Mae." I replied.
She then brushed my (y/h/c) hair away from my face, pulling the front piece into a side braid.
"Do you think it's fair ?" I asked, "What's fair, Y/n ?" She asked confused, "Is it fair that I have to marry a prince for power and not someone for love?"
" It's not my place to say but I think it's not fair. You should marry someone you love not for power." She said as she finished braiding. "All done!" She exclaimed.
"Thank you, Padme. Now its time for me to pick out a dress." I exclaimed excitedly as I chose this baby pink dress for her to wear. "You are too kind to me, Y/n."
"I know. You're my like my sister so I can't leave you out." I said as I laced the corset.
"Now it's time to see what my parents
want." As I exited my room and walked down the hall to get to the dining room where my parents and Chef Shaak- Ti were waiting for me.
