"Anakin ?" I called his name, " it's lovely to see you princess but I'm afraid I have some bad news." He bowed his head in sorrow, "today I received a letter from your mother."
I knew something was wrong and immediately sat next to him on the bed. "Your father has died in a war against Palpatine." He said.
I knew my father and I were never close but it pained me when I realized that he won't see me walk down the aisle on my wedding day with Anakin and he won't get to see my coronation.
I looked at Anakin with tears in my eyes and said "we're going back to Naboo."
(Elizabeth's Pov)
I waited for Edward after he left three days ago, to fight in a battle against the Palpatines . I prayed for safe return until his guard, Rex came barging in.
"I'm sorry your highness but the king has been murdered in the battle." I felt like my world had been crumbled to pieces.
I fell to the floor and cried but one thing I thought about was my daughter.
I wrote a letter and had it sent to Anakin hoping he would get it.
Now it was time for my revenge on the Palpatines.
(Y/n's Pov)
After telling Padme what happened we packed clothes and food and then left the castle with Anakin and headed for Naboo.
