Chapter 1: Tabi o hajimemashou! (Let the journey begin!)

Saturday morning, 9:15am, 9th of March 20xx

[Melanie]: They'd be sat in the backseat of a car which looks ideal for a keen adventurer, with her brother by her side and mother driving, they would deeply sigh, a little worried

[Lucinda]: "What's the matter, Melanie?"

[Melanie]: "Mother, do we have to do this with the others around?"

[Lucinda]: "Well, given the circumstances, yes you do."

[Luka]: Smiling excitedly "Heh heh, well I can't wait!"

[Melanie]: "That's because Grant's gonna be there; you two have been best friends since the start! Besides, you know what Athena's like when she's around me! I'm just glad Aven's been intervening lately..."

[Lucinda]: She would roll her eyes and sigh, stating "Oh dear, I know your problems with Athena and Aven; I've dealt with many issues with others myself. But, you've never even met Grant before; how can you be sure he's not a bad person?"

[Luka]: He would nod in agreement, trying to keep calm and collected "Yeah, and so what? She's our cousin!"

[Lucinda]: "And for the most part this is family business. Maybe this could be a chance for a change of heart."

[Melanie]: a little annoyed, they would take a deep breath "And why so? She's becoming bossy and is now forcing me to call her 'Alpha', even though I find it childish now! And Alpha status isn't inherited! I'd like to have some form of peace every now and then when around her!"

[Luka] "I thought you actually liked playing like that?"

[Melanie]: "Well, of course I used to! But things just, well, get annoying overtime."

[Luka]: "C'mon sib! Let's chill out and take this easy"

[Melanie]: After hearing Luka, they sighed in agreement "Well, I guess you're right"

[Lucinda]: "And he pretty much is..." She'd reply in response "...for all we know, there could come a time where you two will get to properly bond with each other, perhaps in undesired circumstances."

[Luka]: "I mean, when you put it that way, it is pretty accurate."

[Melanie]: "How so?"

[Luka]: "Think of it this way, Melanie: We're headed to an ancient temple where strong magical energy is rumoured to be sensed in a large radius. For all we know we could end up going on an adventure which could leave long lasting impacts. Romance, hate, newfound passions, anything really."

[Melanie]: softly sighing again "Well, yeah, you're right. Sorry for the bad mood by the way, I know it's not like me, but I guess I'm just a 'lil worried for this given who's with us."

[Lucinda]: "ok you two, we're almost there, so grab your things and prepare to get comfortable! The trailers coming down aren't the most spacious, but are very much luxurious compared to others in the world; with that in mind, I'll be revealing who's with who later on!"

[Luka]: "Got it!" He swiftly gets up and prepares his stuff; suitcase, equipment bag and all

[Melanie]: Now excited, they beam up "Trailers? You mean there's a film crew coming? We're gonna be famous?!"

[Lucinda]: "Well, there won't be anyone filming, but I'm sure you two will be able to leave your mark and maybe become famous yourselves!"

[Melanie]: They'd be a bit disappointed, but excited nonetheless "Oh, I see... Well, hopefully it'll be fun!"
