On the third day, the day before their team's break ended, Naruto decided he needed a new outfit. While he loved orange, he prefered burnt orange and to not be a walking beacon. The only reason he wore this jumpsuit is because he found it behind some retail shop, being thrown out. Seeing as you can't even go inside of shinobi stores until you officially are one, and he just hasn't had time to go since he graduated, he decided to do so now.
Walking into the ninth one, after having been kicked out of every previous shop, he was relieved when the shopkeeper simply nodded at him and then continued to read his book. The blue-eyed blonde was surprised but didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth so he continued on his way.
The undercover ANBU decided to get a white turtleneck, skintight, muscle shirt. He also got a black jacket with burnt orange stripes on the sleeves and ANBU black pants with the same stripes down each pant leg. He got black shinobi sandals that go half-way up his calf and switched his headband cloth with a black one.
After obtaining several copies of his outfit, he decided a haircut was in order for the occasion.He went with a simple undercut. (A/N: I apologise if you don't like my choice. You can just imagine it differently if you want.)
The following day, Naruto arrived after Sakura and Sasuke. He caught them blushing at each other while briefly glancing before they noticed him. 'I wonder when they got so close. Especially Mr.Emo™.' This caused him to chuckle inwardly. He decided to wait in a nearby tree for his sensei/boyfriend to arrive in order to see how the scene played out. "Hey Sasuke-kun? After training, do you maybe want to go eat something with me? Like a date?" Sakura finally asked after about twenty more minutes of 'discreetly' watching eachother. The whole time, the whiskered young man was silently dying of laughter. When she spoke, he managed to compose himself enough to pay attention. "Very well..."the Uchiha mumbled in reply, matching the tomatoes he loves so much. The pinkette paused, having expected to be rejected once again. She blinked rapidly before it registered in her brain, causing her face to match Sasuke's. It took a good portion of will power not to burst out laughing madly. This was, of course, the moment Kakashi decided to show up. "Yo!" he greeted with an eye-smile at his genin, causing Sasuke and Sakura to jump apart, both still blushing like school girls
The silver-haired man raised an eyebrow at the blonde who had jumped down when he saw his sensei arrive. Naruto, still silently chuckling, mouthed 'later,' gaining a nod in return.
After their schedule was complete, which was extra tiring for the other two since Kakashi finally realised he needed to actually train them after their disaster mission, the blonde and silverette began walking with Naruto boldly grabbing his boyfriends hand, having gained confidence since his accidental confession, smirking at the surprised look and gaining a 'hidden' blush from Kakashi due to being unused to physical affection and how good the younger looks when he smirked. This of course causes the hidden ANBU's smirk to widen.
After a while Naruto explained what happened before the older arrived for training which got a genuine laugh out of him and the blonde smiled softly at him, effectively causing the one-eyed man to blush again. They had a nice dinner together before the Uzumaki managed to convince his boyfriend to let him stay over at his house(Kakashi's) tonight.
