Thank You (Chishiya x Niragi)

--Niragi's pov--

I sat there holding him in my arms. I honestly didn't know what to say. But, then again, I didn't want to become someone he felt awkward telling things to. So I nodded still holding him tight. Chishiya let out a shaky sigh so I looked at him. "Lovely... look at me," I said as I gently cupped his face. "You don't need to tell me. You can hardly look at me without crying." I said as I wiped a tear off his face. He looked at me with this blank expression on his face. "I... I want to tell you." He said softly, almost becoming a whisper. I nodded. "That's fine. You can tell me then." I smiled hoping it would make him feel better about doing so. Chishiya took a deep breath and nodded.

"My... dad... he works in the medical field. So I don't get to be around him much," He took a deep breath. "But... he chose his work over his son. And I was no longer able to see him as much. Because he chose to stay at work." I listened to him and nodded. Honestly a little upset at where this conversation is going. "I just... wanted to apologize to you. Because of how I am. Blank. I have a hard time showing and understanding emotion because... I was never shown love as a kid. And even now. And honestly? I wanted to be just like him. I wanted to follow his path to see if I cared about people's lives. But... when he left, I didn't want to be like that. So- I stopped." Chishiya looked up at me. "If you show me love and I don't realize... that's why. And this isn't an excuse..." He stopped and looked down.

--Chishiya's pov--

...I did it. I looked back up at Niragi waiting for a response. He just looked at me. Before he pulled me into a tight hug again. I looked at him and started trembling, as tears traveled down my cheeks. "What...what are you-" Niragi cut me off. "Shh," He sighed. "I'm proud of you." My eyes widened a bit. Proud of... me? I sighed shakily and held him tight, resting my head on his shoulder. His grip tightened a little as he started rubbing my back. "I'm here... I'm right here." He said as he cupped my face again, looking into my eyes. "Take a deep breath with me okay?" He said. I nodded and began taking deep breaths with Niragi. He smiled. "Good. Good. Do a few more with me okay?" I nodded again, continuing to take deep breaths. After a little, I calmed down a little and he still held me in his arms.

Niragi nodded. "Good good," He kissed my head. "I'm so proud of you." I couldn't help but smile a little. I lifted my head and kissed him gently while closing my eyes. I felt his arms wrap around my neck as he kissed me back. I broke the kiss and sat there. "...I love you," I spoke. Niragi looked at me and blushed. "I love you too, Chishiya." He smiled. "And just so you know? Your expression won't ever bother me. Ever ever. I'll always be here." He moved a piece of my hair away. "Okay?" I blushed softly and smiled, I nodded.

I couldn't ask for someone better.
