Chapter 22

Friday

We came back home because they were done touring. We arrived back at my house around 2 PM. We both went inside and our mom was sleeping on the couch drunk. We went into our room. I put my clothes away that I didn't wear. I went into Kaitlyn's room.

"Do you have any clothes that need to be washed"

"Yea"

"Well put them in the wash, but don't start it"

"Okay"

I went back into my room and grabbed the clothes that needed to be washed. I walk to the laundry room. Which was downstairs. Kaitlyn was in there putting her clothes in. After she was done I put my clothes in. I went back up to my room and started listening to my music. I put on "Starting Over" by Famous Last Words. I went back downstairs to get something to eat. I looked in the fridge and there was nothing in there. Mom needs to go grocery shopping. I grabbed an Apple and headed back upstairs to my room. I as walked into my room. "Council of the Dead" by Famous Last Words came on. After about listening to 20 songs. I turned off my bluetooth and went back downstairs to watch tv. My mom wasn't laying on the couch. I guess she went somewhere. The doorbell rang and Kaitlyn came running down. She opened the door and Hayes was standing there with flowers in his hands.

"Oooohh where you too love birds going" I said

"Just dinner and the movies" Kaitlyn said

"Be home before nine"

"Nine-thirty okay"

"Fine. Nine-thirty"

"Bye"

"Bye. Don't have to much fun"

"haha okay"

They left and I continued watching tv. I fell asleep on the couch. I was asleep for about thirty minutes til the doorbell rang about 3 times. I then got up. I open the and Max was there.

"Max where have you been"

"Oh you know"

"I don't know. Why did you switched school"

"Umm...my mom wanted me too"

"Why"

"I don't know. She just wanted me too"

"Oh"

"Can I come in?"

"Oh yea. Sorry"

We both walked in and sat down on the couch. We both started talking and by the time was eight. He had to leave.

"It was nice seeing you. We should hang out more"

"Yep"

He gave me a hug and of course I hugged him back. He left and I sat back down on the couch. I checked my phone and the time was 9:28. Kaitlyn came in five minutes. She had a smile on her face and her cheeks were red. She went up to her room and I did too. I changed my clothes and took off the eyeliner. I went of Facebook for a while. I was friends with this girl and she posted a picture of her and Shawn kissing. I looked at the time and date of when it was taken. It was two days ago. I didn't mine him kissing another girl. Like all fan girls do that. I logged off of facebook and plugged in my phone. I then slowly fell asleep.

I woke up and three o'clock in the morning because I heard something fell downstairs. Then I heard talking in the hallway. Hopefully it was my mom. The voices stop talking. I get up and open my door a little bit. I seen shadows going downstairs. I went to Kaitlyn's room and she wasn't there. I heard crying coming from the closet. I walked over there and I opened the door. She was sitting there crying.

"Kaitlyn what happen. Why are you crying"

"They said that they were going to take me and kill me"

"What!? Who?"

"I don't know. They tried to take me but one of them heard something downstairs and I thought it was you. They both went downstairs and they told me to stay here and if I moved they'll chase after me and kill me. So I open the window and threw something out to pretend it was me. I hid in the closet and they came back in here and ran back out to find me"

I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

P: 911 what's you emergancy

S: I need a....

I got hit in the head with something. I heard Kaitlyn scream and everything went black.
