From last time, it was rare to see them in the office. Initially, Oliver still come frequently to discuss important business projects. Then, he stopped coming.

Right now, he visited again and his expression doesn't look good. Aya covered her mouth and was openly crying when Oliver stated that Lee disappeared. Gone on her own. From his conversation with the nurses and the doctor in the hospital, it would seem that Lee lost her memories again. And she ran away. Oliver shared the video from the hospital. She took their son. Aya held my arm as we watched it.

"Where could she go?" I've never heard Aya sounding that way. I guess this is how it is when you lose someone you love.

"I already have people investigating the matter and looking for them."

"You'll find them soon, right?" Aya asked. Her grip on my arm tightened, holding it as some sort of lifeline.

"That's what I'm hoping."

"How about her brothers?" I asked. They have all the resources.

"They already know. They're doing what they can as well."

"What did they say?"

He shook his head. "They're open to any possibilities. It took them two years last time. And they found her on a chance encounter. The investigators didn't seem to contribute. This time, I was hoping to find her much sooner. She needs me. Our son needs me. I don't even know how she'll care for our baby in her condition." He finally cracked at the end of his statement. Aya stopped squeezing my arm. She let go and went to Oliver instead. She hugged him as she silently shed tears, patting his back. She's not looking at him, though. Her mind must be elsewhere, too, thinking where Lee could possibly go.

"You've tried looking for places she frequented in the past? Tracy's. Her old apartment." Aya suggested. Oliver smiled with a grimace and nodded. Aya turned to me. Her expression is begging me to think of something. I sighed and shook my head. I have nothing. She probably knows more about her friend than I do. I only interacted with Lee when she started working here.

When we settled down, Oliver asked us to manage the company in his absence. This time, he might not be able to return frequently. He told me that a lawyer will visit me for the necessary legal arrangement. I only nodded. Aya stood next to me as we watched him go.

"Is there really nothing we can do?" She can't help asking.

"They're already doing what they can. What more can we do?" I explained. She reached for my arm again. I sighed. I pulled her into a hug as she cries for her friend.

It took a few weeks before we both transitioned into the new arrangement.
