Game On

Day: 1

I anxiously sit in 1st period waiting for the bell to ring. Aaron has not been in class all period and for that I thank my lucky stars. I've been staring at the clock for the past 5 minutes like my life depended on it, well in a way it kind of did. With each tick of each second I came closer and closer to tasting my freedom.

"Hey there beautiful, miss me?"

I expected a ring. I wanted the blaring sound of the obnoxious bell to grace my ears. Instead, I was greeted by warning bells in my head. Triggered by the one and only, Aaron.

"What do you mean?" I ask standing up and gathering my stuff. Thankful my voice came out solid.

"I wasn't in class all period." I haven't looked up at him so I don't know which playboy face he's making today.

"Oh?" I say walking towards the door.

"Yeah, you didn't notice?" He sounded like his precious little feelings had been hurt. Bite me.

"No, unlike you, I don't make it my top priority to stalk people and know where they are 24/7." I say walking faster as I see the familiar numbers on the lockers. Come on tiny legs, bring me home.

"I don't stalk-" he was cut off by me swirling around suddenly.

"Hey Aaron want to do me a favor?" I ask sickly sweet.

He looks confused but answers anyway, "Sure?" He says unsure. (A/N pun af)

"I left my pencil case in the classroom, would you mind getting it for me?" I bat my eyelashes. This dare was my bitch.

He looks shocked but then smirks. He thinks I actually want him!! I have to bite my lip from laughing. That only seems to please him more as his smirk grows, "Of course, love. I'll be right back."

I smile at him and his retreating back until he's in the classroom, then I bolt. Swerving past the trees I call my classmates, I make it to my locker my friends waiting for me.

"Where have you been?! Passing period is almost over, and I have my class at the other end of the school! Why are you smiling like you won the lottery?" Sky asks all anger gone from her tone and replaced with curiosity.

"Aaron didn't show up for 1st period until the last 10 seconds. As I tried to leave, he followed me. Before I was too rude and ruined the whole dare, to kill two birds with one stone, I asked him to grab my pencil case from the classroom with a very sweet tone, then bolted over here." I say as I open my locker and get the things I need for next period. I close my locker when I hear silence instead of squeals or anything.

"You left something there? This is like a modern day Cinderella story!" Hannah jumped up and down clapping.

"Hannah..my pencil case is right here." I say as I pull it from behind my binder. I had to squeeze this thing to my chest so he wouldn't notice the pencil case.

"But then what did he go to get?" She asked looking like a confused puppy, head tilt and all.

"Nothing. I used it as a way to get him to leave be alone." I said slowly as if talking to a child.

"Ooooooohh." She said.

"Yeah," I checked my watch, "well we have to go because there's only one minute left or we'll be late. Bye guys."

We all ran for our lives, Sky more than us since she's been late to that class many times before and has been threatened with detention almost the same amount. I step my foot into class right before the bell rings. Yes!

"Hey Elena." I jumped the sound of Drew's voice.

"Hey Drew, what's up?" I said as we walked to the cafeteria.

"Oh nothing, just serving my duty to the school's population." He said with walking with a smug smile and his hands in his pockets.

"And what would the be?" I asked an eyebrow raised, trying to hide my amusement.

"Walking beautiful girls to lunch." He said smirking at me.

Oh god he's such a fuckboy.

I played dumb, "Where?", I asked as I looked around. I grabbed his shoulders to look behind him.

Then he laughed. And it wasn't a horrible sound.

He pulled out his phone and had the front facing camera on and then held it up to me, "Right there." He said with a small smile.

Okay that's cute, if he wasn't trying to get in my pants.

"Oh," I said turning my head to the side as if hiding a blush, "thanks."

"My pleasure." He smiled a full blown smile.

"Thank you Drew. Talk to you later." I say as I sat down at my table. A genuine smile playing at my lips. I look up to see my friends gaping at me. However, Sky's was short lived and replaced with a smirk.

"Well done sista!" She said holding her fist out for me to pound. Which I did gladly.

"Elena..Aaron hasn't stopped staring at you since you walked in with drew all smiles and giggles." Hannah said.

Without looking at him I replied, "well might as well give him something to look at." I say as I took my sweatshirt off. You see I tried to be cute today but it turned out to be colder than my soul so I grabbed a comfy sweater and left. But when that comfy sweater was gone, it revealed a tight, black, long sleeved crop top. My favorite shirt since it was the perfect length and showed off my assets tastefully.

Skylar put her finger to my arm and lashed away as if I burned her. "Hot damn!" She said and we all burst out laughing. Only to be interrupted by a scrape of a chair.
