THIRD PERSON
It was a normal wednesday night for you. You got home at around quarter past eleven and decided to have a shower after an exhausting week, so you put on some music and grabbed a towel.
Around half an hour later, you turned the shower off and got out. You dried off and, considering it was past midnight by now, got ready to sleep.
A few minutes pass and you're in bed, watching netflix. You're so tired you can't even focus on the tv, so you decide to stop fighting to stay awake and call it a night.

CHRIS' POV

It was two in the morning and, as usual, me, Matt and Nick were sitting in our mom's car, which we drove to an empty parking lot every week to film a youtube video. We had just arrived and Matt was setting up the camera, while Nick decided to go on with his usual ramble about how he thought birds were part of the government or some shit. I, however, was too tired to tell Nick to shut up. Sometimes I wondered if maybe this whole 'youtubers' thing was getting a bit exhaustingly repetitive.
'Do you think we should ever, like, switch it up sometimes?' I asked Matt and Nick, who were both fully concentrated on what they were doing.
'No, but guys, seriously: birds are one hundred percent spying on us! Deadass' Nick yelled over the top of his lungs, completely aware that we were in a very small car, where me and Matt could hear him perfectly well, even if he whispered.
'Nick, I didn't ask. Shut the fuck up and help me with this camera' Matt replied with the same energy and pitch as Nick's previous statement.
'Anyways, I feel like we should switch things up a bit' Matt said, almost echoing me as if he had heard what I said underneath Nick's irritatingly loud conspiracy a few moments ago. I would've argued about how I had literally just said that, but, again, I was too tired to argue tonight.
Nick gave Matt a look that made it seem as if Nick had no clue what Matt meant by 'switching things up'.
In reply to Nick's weird glance, Matt said, 'I mean like a guest or something. Like we could invite a friend to do a video with us maybe?'
'Ooooouuuu! that's actually not a bad idea,' Nick belted out in response, 'but who the fuck are we gonna invite at, like, 2am? No one's awake right now, apart from us..'
Nick had a point. Who's gonna be awake so early on a Wednesday night? It's the middle of the week! Unless...

THIRD PERSON

You're fast asleep at 2:34am. In your dream, you're playing poker with Chris. You knew this was a dream because Chris doesn't have the brain cells to play poker, let alone understand the rules.
Moments later, still in the trance of your weirdly amazing dream, you heard a thumping noise coming from your bedroom window. Half asleep, you rubbed your eyes and slowly lifted the duvet from your body and, turning towards the window, you see Chris, who was wearing a grin from ear to ear, waving and signalling you to open the window.
'What the fuck?' You whispered as you slowly stood up from the bed and walked towards him.
Being as quiet as possible so as not to wake your parents, you slowly lifted the window up and looked down to see Matt and Nick holding Chris' legs.
'Hiiiiiii' Chris yelled with a smile.
You quickly put your hand on his mouth and told him to be quiet.
'mm- mmm??' Chris mumbled, narrowing his eyebrows. You chose not to try and make out what he was saying because it was probably some kind of rhetorical question. How dumb can this guy possibly be?
You grabbed the nearest jumper and put it on, Chris looking at you with a somewhat impatient glare. Putting your hair into a messy bun, you got the triplets to help you climb out of the window.
'Chris you're hurting my shoulders!' Nick belted out, you, Matt and Chris interrupting with a 'SHHHHH!'
Immediately after your feet touched the ground, the triplets basically grabbed you by the arms and threw you in the car.

MATT'S POV

When we drove away from Y/N's house, she was furious.
'what the fuck is going on? I feel like I'm being kidnapped!' She yelled at us.
'Ask Chris, it was his idea!' replied Nick, Chris looking at him, blushing in anger and embarrassment.
'UHHH, NO! IT WAS A SHARED DECISION, NICK, SHUT UP' stammered Chris, trying to redeem himself while darting his eyes to and from Y/N and Nick.
Ignoring my brothers, I looked at Y/N. Even when she was half-asleep, she looked beautiful.
'I gotta get up early tomorrow, guys. What is this?' She said, looking around for answers.
After a few seconds of silence, Chris began to explain our idea. Around five minutes passed, and he finished his explanation with, '....so yeah. We thought you might want to join us.'
After he had explained everything, it seemed like a stupid idea. Me, Chris and Nick looked at each other in embarrassment. We probably should've thought about this.
Y/N looked annoyed, but also somewhat flattered. She didn't know what to say.
'We're sorry' Nick said, looking at the floor of the car.
There was a moment of silence. No one really wanted to say something, nor had the guts to change the subject.
'I can drop you home if you want' I said to Y/N, trying to break the unbearable silence.
'No no, it's ok. I'll stay' Y/N said, with a kinder look on her face. She had the prettiest, most contagious smile ever.
'Let's go get something to eat' she grinned, the rest of us shocked by the positive reaction.
Me, Chris and Nick looked at each other and laughed in surprise, Y/N begging to know why we were laughing so much as I stepped on the gas and drove the car into the roads ahead.
