HEYYY, just wanted to say thank you for all the views, haven't posted in a while but I'm working on some new stuff so feel free to check that out!

This is a part 3 to 'the party' if you're not familiar with this story, so please go read that before this!!

MATT'S POV:

I walked around the crowded room, red cups spilling, horrible music echoing over the house, people jumping, and I started to feel claustrophobic.

'where's Y/N when you need her?' I thought to myself, a subtle smile spreading across my face.

All of a sudden, someone grabs my shoulder.

It's Chris (thank GOD, nearly shat myself).

"Hey!" I yelled over the noise.
"Sorry," Chris giggled nervously, glancing at me with a look that screamed 'ok then'.
"What's wrong? you seem tense-" Chris asked in full volume, only to be interrupted by Nick and Alahna, who probably heard Chris from the other side of the room.

"Are you ok Matt?" Nick said into my ear, trying to be as quiet as he could under the circumstances.
"I'm ok guys, really," I replied. "I just need to get out of here."
"What, like, get out of here as in.. go home?" Chris said, confused.
"No, Chris, get out of here as in let's steal a fucking rocket and go to space." Nick sarcastically argued. This sparked yet another argument between chris and nick. Alahna looked at me and shrugged, fully aware that there was nothing we could do to interrupt. I smiled and went to go and sit down outside.

Y/N'S POV:

I needed a drink. I didn't care how many, but I needed to escape in some way other than leaving this party.
Before I knew it, I was chugging any drink I could find - neglected shots, cans half empty, red cups full of god knows what and, after a little while, I felt out of control. I felt out of control, but calm.

It only took an hour or so until the euphoria of it all began to plummet.

Rapidly.

I pushed past as many people as I could in the state I was in, waddling through the crowd and outside the house, into the garden.

I shut the garden door behind me, huffing in relief and leaning my back against it. I looked around the garden, still incredibly disoriented. I stumble over to what I think is an empty bench, before seeing a familiar face.

'Matt!'
