It's been two months since our sign out and we're waiting for NYSC (National Youth Service Corps). Today is one of those days myself and Ammie will do general cleaning so we were folding our clothes when I realized the high possibility of me and my best friend not serving in the same place.
"Babe, I just wish we'll both serve in the same state I don't want to be far away from you. I can die you know, how will I live without you" I whined and pouted
"Mama calm down, as much as you form hard girl I'm the only one that knows how babyish you can be. Don't worry, tell one of those your big sugar daddies to help us work our posting to the same place". Ammie said and hugged me.
"That's true o but first I'll call senator Adeniyi we'll see how it goes"
"Yh, I think that's a good idea" she said and passed me my phone.
I dialed the senators number and he picked it immediately as if he's been waiting for my call.
"Hey daddy" I said in a sweet tone and giggled
"My sweet Iremide, how are you doing darling and this one you called this morning how far? Are you ok?"
"Ahn ahn senator so you mean I only call like this when I need something". I said sounding a bit offended even though it's the truth.
"Yes... Sorry no like that's not what I meant". He stuttered.
"It's fine I'll just cut the call" I didn't really mean it cos I needed his assistance.
"I'm sorry now oya tell me what you need and trust me you'll get it" he said and I smiled looking at Ammie who also looked excited
"So senator, you know we'll soon be going for service right?" I asked
"Of course"
"I don't know if you can help me and my best friend we want to serve in the same place" I said
"Is that the issue" he laughed
"Yes and the place is preferably Abuja".
"That's good consider it done" he said and I squealed in delight.
"Thank you, thank you" I said.
"It's ok I'll send you something for your upkeep" he said
"Oh my dear senator thank you so much" he said I'm welcome and dropped the call.
Me and my best friend held hands as we jumped around the room.
"Arrghhhh so we're finally going to serve in the same place" Ammie said
"Yesss and I'm so happy" I giggled.
I can't wait to go for my service, I'll meet new people probably wealthy ones. Speaking of wealthy people I've not contacted chief Adams, well when I'm done with arranging this clothes I'll try reaching him.
"I feel like eating yam and egg sauce with chilled nutri milk" Ammie said as she stressed the chilled.
" You're something else how will you eat yam and egg and then top it with nutri milk are you planning to have constipation and you know how much you eat once it's yam and egg" I scold her
"I hate you, whatever I'll still do what I intend doing" she said and stomped off to the kitchen.
"That arrogant goat"I hissed
"I can hear you" she said
"Moreover peacock is preferable"
"What?" I asked
"I mean arrogant peacock is far better and you know it goes well than arrogant goat"
"I said that because you're both an arrogant person and also a goat" I won't allow her do what will hurt her.
"Don't think of seizing my purse you know I can get it on credit from Mummy Medinat" she said
"How.... How did you know I ... I was thinking of doing that" I was stunned.
"I know you too well " she said in a duh tone.
"Whatever" I said and picked my phone to call Bimbo as I was done folding the clothes.
"Hey Bim what's up" I said
"I'm good and you" she sounded so excited well she's always in an hyper mood.
"You called at the right time chief just asked after you I was about calling you self" she said
"Yeah I called to ask how far too"
"I'll send you his details now you'll talk to him ok"
"Ok" I said and dropped the call
I picked the file B banks gave me to be sincere I've not opened it since the day he gave me.
I saw pictures of his wife with Tee and she's even seeing senator Adeniyi too why is she with two people I've had something with in the past from this report it shows that she even pays Temmy. Wahoo but why will she be after men that are not even up to her husband well maybe they have what he doesn't have . I decided to keep the file at least now I have dirt's on her she can't pull any stunt on me.
My phone beeped and I saw it's a message, the number of Chief Adams.
"Hello have you seen it" Bimbo asked
"Yes thank you"
"Good luck baby".
Yeah you all may be wondering why Bimbo hooks me up with men and it's like a job. Well all this big men will always need women and Bimbo is a sure plug cos she has the beautiful and classy girls they need. She was also encouraged by the same person who encouraged me to 'use what we have to get what we want'. We've been close since then.
"Babe the food is almost ready" Ammie called out from the kitchen.
"Can you stop acting as if I'm your husband" I said.
"Do you want to be my husband" she said in a flirty tone.
"Is like you're mad, if I want to do a woman se you think you're my spec" I felt uncomfortable and this witch finds it amusing
"You're something else, I'm not into women and you know that so calm down but I won't mind tho" she said and winked at me. I threw a pillow at her, she just dodged it
"I hate that bitch" I grumbled as I picked my phone to set a date with Chief Adams.......
