REAL LIFE
cory and matt hung out again the next. josh came along again, but only because he was cory's ride. and cory still didn't trust herself fully around matt. while she knew now that he cared for her, she didn't want to risk anything.
the three were in a random parking garage taking pictures. josh was taking pictures of cory and matt for cory to post on her instagram. after a couple poses, matt had to say what he was thinking since they got there.
"cory, you look so beautiful right now." he said. cory froze and her face started to turn a deep red. a small smile grew on her face as she stared at matt speechlessly. matt was scared that he just scared her off, but when he saw her smile, he started smiling, too. the two laughed before stopping when they realized they did it at the same time. josh just kept taking pictures.
"this is gold." he whispered, clicking the camera button. he stopped taking pictures for a moment and closed his eyes for a second. he wished he had someone like cory had matt. when josh opened his eyes, he nearly dropped the phone.
they were kissing now. matt had finally made his move and kissed her while the two were just staring at each other. their lips moved in sync and the two wished they could stay like this forever, just the two of them.
oh, and josh.
"i blinked!" he exclaimed in shock. cory and matt immediately pulled apart. both teens' cheeks were red now. "no, keep going. i need a kiss picture."
the two kissed again, this time much shorter as it was just for a picture.
"you guys are insane." josh shook his head. he brought the phone closer so they could see the pictures.
"the pictures are perfect, josh." cory said as she swiped through them, her gaze lingering on the one of them kissing.
"cory can i take you on a date right now?" matt asks finally. "like without josh. sorry, bro."
"no, it's good," josh sighed. "have fun, kids." and with that he got into his car and left.
"so..." matt trailed into the silence. "how do we feel about denny's?"
