"We be giants with our tiny, tiny Love" Mika finished the song with tears in his eyes, His Mum had the biggest smile on her face and was encouraging his younger brother and sister to cheer for him. Mika stood up to talk to crowd of kids but then the curtains suddenly shut.
"Mica, A word please, Paloma, Yasmine, go sit back down with your classes."Mika's teacher showed up behind him as soon as the curtains were pulled.Her face was red and she had a look of pure evil in her eyes. Yasmine and Paloma nodded and went to go sit in the crowd.
"WHAT WAS THAT!" The teacher screamed. "I dont know what that Grace kelly thing was but our school does not like gay themed songs!"Mika's teacher was clearly out to get him "And then you sing some soppy love song, what was that? I saw your Mums face, she looked so embarrassed." She crossed her arms and despite not seeing this teacher for years he couldn't help but cry. "Typical Penniman, cries when you are told the truth. You're luckily you get to stay behind the stage until the results or else I would bring you and your parents into a meeting this instance about you spreading gay propaganda slating Grace Kelly's name." His teacher stormed off the stage area and slammed the door so hard the wall around it shut.
Mika stood in tears for a few seconds. How could she say that to him, An eight year old boy. How dare she say his Mum was Embarrassed! Many other kids around him stood in shock as they waited in the little area behind the stage for their turn to perform. He turned to see all of them staring at him. His performance had reverted back to the nightmare he found himself in hours before. He covered his eyes and ran behind some big speakers in the corner of the dressing rooms adjacent to the stage and curled up, hidden behind them.
"This nightmare has to end, Take me back to 2022 Please!' he cried to himself.
Mika shut his eyes and forced himself to sleep, trying to get him back to the present day.
"Please take me back, PLEASE!" He begged as he yawned and fell asleep.
[Authors Note] I wonder how the other Mika is getting on in 2022? (This chapter was very short and I almost included it in the previous chapter.)
