*Y/N's POV*
Half an hour later, after I've seen the rest of the coven, including the rooms and the greenhouse but no Cordelia, I am standing in the kitchen again. Fiona just offered me a coffee which I thankfully accepted. I wouldn't have thought that she'd be hospitable, but I guess she is a gentlewoman after all.
"So who runs this place? The Supreme or the headmistress?" I ask, a little confused with the mixed messages I've been getting. I get a rather amused chuckle from Fiona before she answers.
"Why don't I introduce you two?" Fiona asks, not knowing that's exactly what I was hoping to hear from her.
"That would be lovely..." I say trying not to give away my sudden excitement.
"Follow me..." she adds, turning around and starting to climb up the stairs. "Cordelia has been running this coven for quite a few years now..." she says as her feet take obviously longer than her brain would like, "I used to do it myself, but my time for that has passed," she says nostalgic, ''right now I'm just assisting her trying to find other witches to join us..."
Arriving in front of a closed door, Fiona knocks three times in a row with equal timing.
"Come in..." A fragile and focused voice sounds from the other side of the door. That's her voice... my heart races.
"Do you mind if we interrupt you, Cordelia?" Fiona asks after opening the door and I am not sure if I hear a sarcastic undertone in her voice. I somehow get the impression that she is usually not that friendly with her daughter. Delia's gaze still lingers on the documents on top of her desk, missing the longing way with which my eyes settled on her.
"I'm very busy, Fiona..." Delia says, still not paying visual attention to either me or her mother, "You know that I have so much to do and you keep interrupting me for no reason at all and..." as Delia was obviously about to continue trashing her mom, Fiona pretends to clear her throat so that Delia would notice they weren't alone.
"What?" Delia yells a little pissed off and finally looks at the both of us. The instant she notices me standing a little behind Fiona near the door, Delia's eyes widen and her mouth opens in surprise, just enough for me to smirk at her reaction.
"As I was trying to tell you," Fiona interrupts the silence that settled in the room, perceiving a strange connection between the two of us, "I'm introducing the coven to y/n."
''I'm sorry..." she apologizes, regaining her composure, "I hadn't noticed Fiona was accompanied..." Delia says to me, getting up from her desk and walking towards us. "My name is Cordelia Goode, I'm the headmistress of this school," she adds, extending her hand for me to shake, pretending this is the first time we ever saw each other.
"I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you," I say smiling shyly, trying to be convincing enough to fool Fiona who had gotten distracted with a message notification in the meantime.
"I wasn't aware we were having a visitor, Fiona..." Delia says sarcastically, requesting her mother's attention.
"Just be glad I'm doing something for this coven instead of complaining like a brat," Fiona answers, leaving me in an uncomfortable situation.
"Oh please Fiona... You'd have to live another 100 years to make up for all the shit you've done in the past..." Cordelia raises her voice, almost forgetting about my presence in the room.
"Okay... Should I come back another time?" I ask, breaking the tension between them.
"Fiona was just leaving..." Delia says with an authoritarian tone of voice that made me wet my panties. "You, sit..." she adds with a sweet and tender tone, now referring to me.
