ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝟟.

The sounds of splashing water and lively chatter echo throughout the walls of the indoor pool. Girls in swimming suits lounge on the edge of the large lap pool, and in the middle the guys playfully shove each other inside the water.

"Want a drink?" A young man asks from next to where you're sitting, a red solo cup extended in his hand.

"No thanks, I don't drink." You chuckle.

"I see. My bad." He says, pushing his long bangs away from his eyes.

"You're fine." You laugh, studying him. He's a fine young man, the only piece of clothing on his body being his black and blue swim trunks. That leaves his chiseled abs on full view, to which you've already caught a few girls ogling at.

"So, how do you know Jay?" The young man asks, now drinking from the previously offered cup.

"He's my brother's friend." You say, glad to finally have some company.

You didn't originally want to come to Jay's birthday party. You thought it would just be a bunch of college girls and boys getting drunk and high, and you were partly right. But in the end, Jake convinced you to come, saying how 'Jay spent so much money renting an indoor pool for the party.'

Of course, you didn't care about Jay or his money issues. The only thing you really cared about at the moment is the platinum haired boy splashing around in the water.

"Heesung, pass me the football!" You hear Sunghoon yell out from inside the water, reaching into the air as the football gracefully lands in his hands.

He truly is beautiful.

"Hello...? Earth to... you?"

You blink twice, just now remembering the young man next to you, "s-sorry. I got a little bit distracted."

The man laughs softly, "I asked what your name was."

"Sorry, I'm Y/N."

"Nice to meet you. Im Beo-" He stops talking to stare at someone behind you.

You turn around in confusion, seeing Jake wander up to your chair.

"Beomgyu." Jake says curtly, frowning ever so slightly.

"Jake." Beomgyu says, returning the tone, "Sorry. Didn't realize I stole your date."

"She's my sister."

You bite your lip, awkwardly glancing between the two. The atmosphere significantly grows more dense, both boys glaring at each other. Though, at Jake's words, Beomgyu's eyes widen in realization.

He looks back down to you briefly, "I should probably g-go now." Beomgyu stutters.

You are about to interject and say how he could stay but Jake beats you to it, "Yes. You should."

"Nice meeting you Y/N." Beomgyu smiles sweetly, before he retreats to the edge of the pool.

You turn to Jake, a frown on your face, "Hey! What the hell was that for?"

"What do you mean, 'what the hell was that for'? You should thank me, that guy is a pervert."

You sigh, exasperated, "You think every guy is a pervert! I don't need you, and your... issues with other people getting in the way."

"I don't have an issue with him!" Jake retorts stubbornly, "We just had beef in the past."

"Well I was just having a normal conversation with him, before you chased him away, that is."

"Well, why don't you have a conversation with any of them?" Jake asks, waving his arm out to gesture to the college girls chatting in the other seats. You really had no interest in them or whatever they were talking about.
