Nine

                     * Jafar *

It was 9 pm when I reached home and I couldn't stop worrying about what the anonymous person said. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a voice

Nuriya: "Welcome!" she was in a good mood, that's good!

Jafar: "Thanks! How was your day? " We stood at the garage

Nuriya: "I was at home today, so I decided to study a little"

Jafar: "that's great! And how are you coping?"

Nuriya: "Very well actually, but I must admit there are lots of smart students there, so there's a bit of competition"

Jafar: "I understand, but I trust you will do just fine.. You're smart too!"

Nuriya: "Yeah... Thanks!" I tilted my head and looked at her for a sec

Jafar: " is it just me or you look like Inna this evening" She laughed

Nuriya: "Out of all people"

Jafar: "What do you mean? Inna is very beautiful!"

Nuriya: "You are right, I'm just surprised about what you said"

Jafar: "Yeah right" I started walking inside, and she followed "What do you think about Nasir?"

Nuriya: "What?"

Jafar: "you heard what I asked"

Nuriya: "Well, he's like a big brother to me, that's all"

Jafar: "Are you sure about that? Nothing more?" she nodded "Trust me I won't come between you guys"

Nuriya: "that's the truth, I don't see him more than that"

Jafar: "Alright then " we reached inside the house  "Goodnight!"

Nuriya: "Goodnight!"

I went in my room and saw Maria was fast asleep, I smiled at her cuteness. I freshened up and joined her on the bed, I watched a video on IG and I laughed a little this made her stir up, then she opened her eyes

Maria: "You're back" still lying down,

Jafar: "I nodded!"

Maria: "Do you want something to eat?" she was about to get up but I stopped her

Jafar: " No, I'm good, just go to bed"

Maria: "Are you sure?"

Jafar: " Yes"

Maria: "Then go to sleep! " she said and placed her head on my chest, I chuckled.. I caress her back until she fell asleep.
She has changed so much and that made me happy, the change happened when Nuriya moved in with us. Speaking of her, I wonder if she also considered me as her elder brother, I cannot even explain the way I feel about her. Could it be possible that I have fallen for her? I doubt it! I stopped thinking about it and moments later I fell asleep as well.

The next morning I was fully prepared for work I wore a black Kaftan that was neatly designed and I wore a black cap as well to complement my skin tone. Maria was already downstairs preparing breakfast, Yeah! that Maria! I was about to leave the room when I remembered the text I received last night.

At first I didn't want to do what the person said but then I thought that there's no harm in doing it anyways, who knows what he/she meant? Only one way to find out! So I made my way into the bathroom.
