Thirteen

                   * Nuriya *

It was 7 am and I was preparing for school, Haroon had called me like ten times already, yeah! That Haroon! We have a test this morning, so he helped me study during the weekend and now I guess you can say we're friends.
At least I got to know him more and found out that he was a really good guy, And so far he didn't try asking me out which I really appreciate.

I wore a dark grey Abaya and a black veil to go with it. I sat on my bed to cross check everything I needed for today when a strong urge to throw up hit me. I ran to the bathroom quickly and threw up so hard, few minutes later I rinsed my mouth thinking that was it but it came back even stronger that I started to cry. I became so weak I couldn't stand, I just sat on the floor in my bathroom.

Yusrah: "Nuriya! Nuriya Alhaji is waiting for you downstairs he's getting late for work" I heard Inna say, but I couldn't reply her back, I also heard my phone ringing, Ya Allah what's going on?

Yusrah: "Oh my God! What happened to you? My daughter please be OK, Somebody please help my child " I heard her say vividly, while she held me in her arms before everything went black.

                     * Jafar *

We waited for Nuriya at the dining table but she still wasn't out yet, Inna decided to go call her only for us to hear her screaming at the top of her lungs. Both Maria and I rushed upstairs to see Nuriya on the floor in the bathroom, I quickly carry her and went downstairs, I gently dropped her at the back seat and Maria sat on the passenger's seat, then we left for the hospital.

Two hours later...

We waited outside for the doctors to give us updates on her, both Inna and Aisha came to the hospital as well. To be honest I felt pity for her, why is all this happening to her? Jafar kept pacing around, Moments later, Nasir arrived looking so worried.

Nasir: "Jafar!" He went to my huband and shook his hand "What happened this time?"

Jafar: "We found her unconscious in her bathroom" he said in a low tone.

Nasir: "My God!"

Maria: "Don't worry, I'm sure she will be fine" Dr. Aminu came into view

Jafar: "What happened to her?"

Aminu: "She's doing alright Jafar, she's asleep"

Maria: "But what happened to her Aminu? Why did she faint?"
Everyone looked at him in anticipation, but it was
obvious that he didn't want to disclose the information in front of everyone

Aminu: " Jafar, can we meet in my office?" I went with Jafar to his office.

Jafar: " Can you please just tell us what happened? What's with the suspense nau? " he just  shrugged, I and my husband have crazy individuals as friends, they're never serious!

Aminu: "I didn't want to tell you guys in front of everyone, it's just to maintain the patient's private life"

Maria: "Can you tell us now?" he sighed

Aminu: "She's two weeks pregnant!" I laughed

Maria: "You can't be serious" I continued laughing, my laugh died down when I saw the seriousness on his face "Wait! You are serious?" I stood up
