Eighteen

                     * Nuriya *

Nasir: "Surprise! surprise!" he hung up

Nuriya: "You got me this time. When did you get back? "

Nasir: "last night, and this morning you were all I wanted to see. And you have become times two, I'm sure you have been eating anything and everything "

Nuriya: " That's true" he laughed at me and I glared at him

Nasir: "Let's go out!"

Nuriya: "Don't you have work to do?"

Nasir: " Nope, I'm free like a bird! "
I thought about his offer for a sec. It has been a while since I stepped out, mostly because we're on holiday at school

Nuriya: "Alright let me change"

Nasir: "I'll be downstairs"
I went back into the room and changed into a purple gown and a nice patterned cream veil.

I made my way downstairs and saw him and Maria standing, they were both having a conversation, I reached to where they were and heard Maria say,

Maria: "You can't take her Nasir"

Nasir: "Why?"

Maria: "Because the doctor demands that she gets complete bed rest!"

Nasir: "I promise we'll be back within an hour"

Maria: "It's not like before Nasir, as you can see she is carrying a child"

Nuriya: "Please Maria, I'm tired of just staying at home, I promise I won't stress myself too much"

Maria: "I really don't like this idea"

Nuriya: "We'll be back shortly, promise!" She sighed after a while,

Maria: " OK fine, one hour!" I smiled

Nuriya: "Thank you!"
With that, we left. I sure hope that we don't take too long before Jafar gets back.

Jafar was back home and I was kinda surprised because he only left three hours ago, he sat on the couch in the living room and I stood in front of the door that led to the kitchen. He was on the phone with someone and I thought about how I still haven't told him about my pregnancy.

I don't know why I haven't told him yet, especially since he is only focused on Nuriya at the moment. Maybe I'm just scared that he might show extra care towards her than me, that would break my heart to be honest, just then he asked the person

Jafar: "Did you do what I asked?"

Jafar: "And what is the result?" he sighed, what result?

Jafar: "Ok, we'll meet up later, thanks Aminu" he hung up and I immediately came into his view.

Maria: "You're back" I said as I made my way to sit beside him, he stared at me for a while

Jafar: "You've gained some weight! That's new, what have you been eating? "

Maria: "What? No I don't think so, I think I still look the same"
He shook his head in denial

Jafar: "You have definitely gained few pounds"
I glared at him

Maria: "Are you calling me fat?" I raised an eyebrow at him, he chuckled and stood up

Jafar: " Where's Nuriya?"

Maria: "Uhm... She went for a stroll" I lied,

Jafar: "What? Why did you allow her? She's supposed to be resting"
