Chris POV

I've never been this nervous going on a date. There's something about her I can't explain. She draws me in. Since I first saw her. My mind goes to last night. She was beautiful to watch. Sitting there with her friend just enjoying themselves. Wearing a baseball hat and a sweatshirt that looked two sizes too big for her. Very fitted jeans lead down to a pair of Puma sneakers. They were laughing. Talking like they were the only two in the world. She never glanced my way. Which only intrigued me more. Seeing is every other woman in the room was staring at me. Trying to get my attention. Especially the scantily clad blonde next to her. It's been rather annoying for a couple years now to be honest. The flirting and the brazen behavior. I just couldn't stop staring at her. She was the only women I saw in that place. Scott called me out. "Bro just go talk to her." He said. I shrugged. "I'm sure she has someone in her life Scott. I mean Christ look at her. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. How could she not?" Taking a sip of my beer. "Chris if you don't, I will. You've been gawking at her since she walked in." He says. "What do I even say Scott? Do you know how long it has been since I talked to a woman in a bar? One that hasn't approached me first that is." My eyes go to the floor. "You joking right? You're Chris Evans. In case you've forgotten. The most eligible bachelor in the world. Woman fall at your feet. Look. Her friend's wearing a Capitals sweatshirt. She's wearing Bruins gear. Start there. Then offer to buy them a drink. I can't believe of all people I'm giving you advice on this." He laughs. I look up at her again. Her friend sees me staring. I don't have much of a choice now do I? "Here goes nothing Scott." Sighing out. The rest of the night plays through my head. How cute she was when she couldn't speak for a minute. How I made her giggle. Such a great sound. Trying not to react when I saw me on her phone when her daughter texted. It's very flattering though. Pulling up to the hotel I take a minute to breathe. The valet gets to the car. "Good evening Mr. Evans. Will you be staying with us this evening?" He asks. "No, my man. I have someone joining me for dinner. Do you mind waiting for us? We should be right back down." I ask. He says not a problem. I shake his hand and head in. I get to the elevator. Pressing the button for the penthouse suite she's staying in. She seems to have her life set well. Staying in the nicest hotel. In the biggest suite. A very expensive car. Wearing Gucci with very fashionable shoes and purse. I'm glad she can and wants to take care of herself. She's independent. I like that.

I was happy with my stroke of luck today. Not going to lie. I was hoping I may run into her when I decided to go get something to eat. I knew the area she was in. However, I wasn't ready for us to be in the same room. It took a minute to hit me it was her. Antonio greeted me at the door. I headed to sit at the small bar. Walking by the dining room I happened to glance up when I heard the typing. I was struck by her radiance. Wow she looks amazing in red. Her hair flowing down her shoulders. Make up done in perfection. Gorgeous brown eyes fixated on the screen as she typed. Wearing glasses. Which for some reason I find sexy as hell. Looking enthralled. I know she said she liked to write. I love I had the opportunity to watch her in her creative element. Her calling herself a Marvel geek. Also her phone's screen. I'm pretty confident she has seen me in mine. That chair dance was the cutest thing ever. Shocked when she told me what she was listening to. She's definitely unique. Something else I find intriguing about her. We have a lot of the same taste in music. The elevator doors open. I'm only three steps away from the door. The one she's right behind. I'm shaky. Not sure if its because I'm excited or nervous. A bit of both probably. She's different than anyone I've ever dated. We seem to align. Found out today talking to Antonio how much. When he told me what she did for his family my jaw dropped. She gives back. He was sure to let me know to kids and animals like myself. Which made me more confident in the plans I have for tonight. I knock on the door.

It opens, I gasp for air. I've heard the expression many times. This's the first time that someone took my breath away. She's dazzling. Wearing red. I hope it's because I said I liked her in it. I gaze up and down her body. She's smoking hot. I've been around her twice but not like this. The form fitting dress shows her curves. Stupendous ones. Those legs, sweet lord what I wouldn't do to run my hands up those thighs. Feel them around my waist. On the sides of my face. I'm in deep thought. Ones I shouldn't with her in front of me. "Chris are you just going to stand there and not say hello?" She giggles. Shoot I've been caught. "I'm sorry. But wow. You look amazing." Kissing her cheek. "So do you. Nice suit. It fits you well." She says into my ear. Sending tingles through me. I pull away from her. I'm too tempted to kiss her. After I almost got to this afternoon I've been anxiously awaiting for my next opportunity. I want it to be perfect though. She leads me through the door into her suite. "I have to get my coat." My eyes are completely fixed on her backside. Her hips sway as she walks turns me into a twelve-year-old boy. I keep repeating be a gentleman in my head. It seems she hasn't had that before. I'm determined to give her that. What I wouldn't do to tell that jack *ss what I thought of him. I tried to get out of Scott if Cindy said anything to him. All he said is that it was pretty brutal story. But it wasn't his to tell. I could see it's bad when I told her if she wanted, I would help through the heart break. Using her book as an innuendo. She tried to hold back the tears, but I saw. Poor baby girl. Treated as badly as she was. I'll have to work to win her trust. She's worth it I think as she's getting her coat. "Please, allow me." Helping her put it on. My fingers graze her neck as I fix the collar. She shivers. She did that earlier today as well. I thought she was cold. Could it be my touch? I hope so. She gets her purse. "Ready?" I ask. She nods. "I'm really looking forwards to seeing what you have up your sleeve." She giggles. I love when she does. We head to the elevator. When she presses the button I noticed even her hands are perfect.
