All of you arrived home to see the house in smokes

"but it wasn't my fault." Paddington said " who else was in the house? The front door was still locked." Henry said
"There was an elephant!" Paddington said "an elephant?" You ask. "Well, it had the head of an elephant and the body of a snake, but it tried to shoot me!" Paddington said.

"Have you been drinking soap water?" Mrs. Bird asked "no" Paddington denied "Paddington, why don't you tell us what really happened?" Mary said Leaning down infront of the bear.

"What?" "We won't be crossed." She said "oh, speak for yourself." Henry said angerly " Mrs. Brown, you must belive me. I would never lie to you." Paddington pleaded

" I'm sorry but that was the last straw." Henry stated  " it was an accident, darling. They happen." Mary stated.  "But the children-" " Paddington's the best thing that happened to the children. There happy" Mary said " But what's the point of them being happy if they're not safe?" Henry asked. " the fact is, he's putting them in danger. They have to be our number one priority" He continued. "Well, they are! I've got...They are" mary sighed.

Henry sat on the bed " and the worst part is he won't even tell us the truth" he sighed " how can he live with us if we can't even trust him?" He asked " I don't know Henry" she replied " we've got to face facts. This house just isn't the place for a bear" he said " perhaps you're right." Mary agreed " maybe we should take him to the authorities"

Little did they know Paddington heard everything.

You were sitting at the tablevad your mom read the letter Paddington left behind.

"Dear browns. Thank you very much for having me to stay. You are a very lovely family. I'm very sorry about the flood and the fire and the incident at the geographers' guild. I hope that now I have gone, things will calm down a bit.
Yours: Paddington"

"Well, shall we go after him?" Judy asked " its better this way. He didn't really belong here" Henry said " how could you say that" Jonathan said.

You began to cry " I didn't want paddi to leave" you sob jumping from your seat and running up stairs to your room.

You were sobbing into your mom's shoulders as she tried to comfort you but it wasn't exactly working..

Yiu loved Paddington. You really did so you didn't understand why he ran away.

"It's not far." Yiu sobbed as you whiped the tears from your eyes.

"Sh I know, darling." Mary cooed as the rocked you and rubbed your back.

"Tell you what. Well try and find Paddington tomorrow after school, okay?" She told you.

Still a snuggling mess you bobbed your head befire burying your face back into your mom's shoulder.

Paddington had been searching all around London in search for Montgomery clude but still have yet to find him, sadly.

The phone rang from down stairs your dad answered.

"Burry. I have some news concerning the bear." Mr. Curry said

"What?! What do you mean?" Your dad asked

"Who is it, henry?" Mary asked peaking from the stairs.

"It's Mr. Curry doing a silky voice." Your father said

You peaking your head out down the stairs to listion to the conversation.

"He says Paddingtons been kidnapped!" He exclaimed.

You grabbed you coat and shoes and ran down the stairs along with Judy, your mom, and Johnathan.

All of you hopped into a car and drove off

You guys were going to save Paddington.
